Overview

N-LET Application Form 2027: NEF Law College (NLC) will commence NEF Law Entrance Exam application process in May in both online and offline modes. Candidates meeting eligibility can fill out NEF application form for five-year integrated LLB coursethree-year LLB, and  LLM courses separately. NEF official website to apply online is nefcollege.org/Law College/Law.html. It must be noted that single NEF Law Entrance exam form 2027 will not be considered if candidates are appearing for one or more courses. 

NEF application form along with prospectus can be obtained in person from college on payment of INR 500. They can get it by post by sending a D.D. favouring "NEF Law College" payble at Guwahati. In case NEF Law Entrance application form 2027 is downloaded from internet. NLET Exam will be conducted in offline mode.

How to Apply for NLET 2027?

NEF Law application form can be filled online as well as offline. Those who wish to appear for NEF Law Entrance Exam 2027 can apply by following these steps given below

  • Go to online portal of NEF Law College, Guwahati, nefcollege.org
  • Click on Apply Online 
  • Select NEF Law College, Guwahati
  • Click on Register
  • Enter personal info, education qualification, age and attach scanned copy of documents

NEF Law Entrance Test Eligibility Criteria 2027

To apply for NEF Law Entrance Test for law courses (5-Year LLB, 3-Year LLB, and LLM) offered by NEF Law College, Guwahati, candidates have to meet

Course level Eligibility Criteria
Five-year integrated LLB course
  • Candidates should have passed Class 12th or equivalent from any state board or national board of education.
  • They should have obtained at least 45% marks if belonging to the general category, 42% marks if belonging to the OBC category, and 40% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • The candidates appearing in the Class 12th examination in the admission year are also eligible to apply for the NLET exam (they should qualify for the exam and submit the proof at the time of final admission).
  • The age limit criteria for general category candidates is not more than 20 year and for SC/ ST category candidates, it is up to 22 years of age. 
Three-Year LLB
  • Candidates should have a graduation degree in any stream from a recognised institute/ university. 
  • They should have secured at least 45% marks in aggregate, 42% marks for the OBC category, and 40% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • There is no age limit for admission to this course.
LLM course
  • Candidates should have an LLB degree or a five-year integrated LLB degree from a BCI-recognised law institute/ university. 
  • They should have secured at least 50% marks in aggregate and 45% marks if belonging to the SC/ ST category.
  • There is no age limit for admission to this course.

Documents Required to fill NLET Application Form 2027

Before you apply for  NLET , candidates must have important documents ready. Check list of documents for NEF Law Entrance Test application form
  • Class 10th and 12th marksheet and certificate
  • A passport-size photo with white background is needed too. Size between 1 MB. Format in .jpg or .jpeg
  • They have to upload signature. It should not be more than 1 MB
  • BPL certificate. File size should not be more than 2 MB
  • For those who are Foreign Nationals, passport copy must be uploaded
  • If applying for LLM, graduation marksheet and certificate are needed
  • Character certificate is also compulsory, not older than 3 months
  • Transfer certificate
