The closing rank for NSUT East Campus cutoff 2023 is 9676 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (IOT), 10196 for B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering (Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning) (ECAM) and 8194 for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering (Big Data Analytics) (CSDA). NSUT East Campus cutoff is based on JEE Main scores followed by JAC Counselling. At the UG level, NSUT offers BTech course across three specialisations. NSUT East Campus admission 2023 to BTech has been concluded with the release of JAC Delhi Counselling 2023 for 5 Rounds.

The final NSUT East Campus cutoff is based on JAC Delhi Counselling. JAC Delhi Cousnelling is conducted in mutlipe rounds by Joint Admission Committee (JAC) for admission to Undergraduate Programmes in premier Delhi Government funded universities, offering Engineering, Architecture and Management. The total number of rounds in which the counselling will be conducted depends upon the availability of the vacant seats. Going as per the last year trends, NSUT cutoff 2023 was released up to Round 5, while in 2022 up to Round 3 and in 2021 up to Round 8. JEE Main rank is accepted by both DTU and IIT Delhi, followed by the JAC Delhi counselling process for admission to various BTech specialisations. According to the JAC Delhi Round 1 cutoff 2025, the closing rank for CSE admission for the General AI category was 2285. While for IIT Delhi it was 8171.

Therefore, going by the cutoff for both institutions, IIT Delhi is relatively easier for CSE admissions. Although those candidates who qualified for DTU can view other parameters to consider for a better, more knowledgeable decision.

If your Class 12 marks were only 60%, it is very difficult to get into NSIT for a B.Tech programme unless you are in one of the reserved categories. 

For B.Tech admission, NSIT has very high cut-offs based on JEE Main rankings.Cutoffs for General category students typically fall below rank 2000, requiring a JEE Main score of 99+ percentile.

The cut-off ranks for reserved SC, ST, and OBC categories are less than 10,000, necessitating a 95+ percentile.
Therefore, earning 60% on your 12th board exam is insufficient. You need to have a very high JEE Main rank.
The eligibility requirements of 60% are merely the minimum. The 12th grade is not directly taken into account for admission by NSIT.To have a chance in the General category with 60% in the 12th grade, you would need a JEE Main rank below 500.
