Good in culture, may be not suitable for placement.

Placements: The placement scenario this year is not upto the mark, especially for branches like ours. I got placed in a decent company. But still, I would say placement is not good. Around 50% of students are placed in our branch which is very low, and most of companies are sales companies.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is great, there is no doubt about that. I don't think there is any better NIT in North East than that in terms of infrastructure, classrooms, and lab facilities. Hostel facility is also good but sometimes in mess the quality of food is not up to the mark.

Faculty: In our department, teachers are very helpful and knowledgeable, technically qualified. They help us not only in studies but also in other things like extracurricular activities, and how to compete on the internet with other students to check where we stand compared to others.

Other: To be honest, my first preference is other branches like computer science and circuital branches but due to less percentile in JEE I did not get these branches.

Now placements are looking good.

Placements: We have 90 percent placement in the production engineering department. 18 LPA is the highest for my branch; the lowest is 7 LPA. All companies are recruiting. Recently, the highest CSE package was 48 LPA, and the minimum in the CSE branch was 12 LPA in recent years.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is limited to 2 GB per person only. The mess must be made somewhat better; some more improvement is needed. Medical facilities are very bad in not Agartala; when we get any disease, they will not take much care of us, only medicine they will give us.

Faculty: Faculty is okay, but some are teaching in Bengali, which is not understandable. The curriculum is relevant. The difficulty level is average. Some exams are somewhat the toughest, and some are moderate to clear. But some teachers are good at teaching, though they also must improve.

Other: It has a government sector to get the job from, and also companies.

Overall hostel experience is good, the mess isn't good, placements are poor, and fests are not good.

Placements: If I talk about my branch, the placements are not so good, but circuital branches, especially Computer Science, have very good placement percentages, and the packages are also good. Top recruiting companies are PhonePe, Amazon, etc. If you want to get excellent placements, this college is definitely not the best choice.

Infrastructure: Hostels are the best part of college life, and the hostels at NIT Agartala are very new and well-maintained. Hostels for first and final-year students are very good, but for second and third-year students, they are not that good.But the real hostel feel is there in their hostels.

Faculty: Faculty members are good (some exceptions are there), and exams are sorted. There is not a very hectic schedule for the first year, and attendance is also not a concern (although internal marks will be deducted). You can sit in exams by requesting teachers. Nice, supportive teachers.

Review of NIT Agartala - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Nearly about 47 percent of students that were sit in the placement cell were placed. The package that a student gets is 18 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA, with an average of 7 LPA. Top recruiting companies that visit are Coca-Cola, Maruti, Tata, and many more, totaling 17 companies visited. Total about 5 to 6 students got internships in Coca-Cola. The top role that got is manager of any region of the company.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are quite good; it has good big size labs that have a good amount of equipment in the lab. Classroom is also very good, and the library is the best. We have the central library having 1 Lakh plus books that we can access, and the canteen is also good. We have the best sports complex among all NITs.

Faculty: Teachers are good; they help in our exams and management of any project, and their teaching quality is also very good. Yeah, we got so many projects to make in the practical field that helps to be industry-ready. Semester exams are quite hard; it takes time to prepare for them, and the passing percentage is 90 percent.

Other: This course, because I'm in the general category, I got 80500 rank in JEE Main. So, in CSAB round, I got NIT Agartala in the production branch. For better improvement of this course, we should always focus on practical and basic knowledge of this sector. We got so many events, and also we have a fest called Moksha. And we have Teckfest and many more, and the campus is so beautiful and greenery. We have so many scholarships for every caste.

If you want to consider tier 2 NITs then of course you can join this college.

Placements: Placements at NIT Agartala are not bad. Actually, it is good. We know that it is the time of recession so placements are somehow disturbed but in the circuital and CSE branches, it is good in 2023. In production engineering, placements are not good but one can get a good package if they are passionate and can work hard. Because, of course, it is a college of national importance, it is better than private colleges. In my branch in 2023, the placement percentage is 70% and the highest package is 20 LPA, the lowest is 6 LPA, and the average package is 8 LPA.

Infrastructure: Production engineering has its own separate department, which is situated above the food court canteen. The institute provides separate hostels for male and female students. The hostels are equipped with the necessary amenities to ensure a comfortable living environment for students. NIT Agartala has a central library that serves as a knowledge hub for students and faculty. The campus is likely to have cafeterias and food courts where students can have meals and refreshment. There is typically a health centre on campus to provide medical assistance to students and staff.

Faculty: Teachers are good here. Most of them have Ph.D.s from IITs and NITs, and they have taught at other NITs as well. Since we are engineering colleges, we have to rely on YouTube, not on teachers. Semester exams are decent; if you start studying 7 days before midterm and 10 days before your end-of-semester exams, then you can pass exams easily. Pass percentage is more than 98%.

Very good college in the north eastern region.

Placements: Our college placements are good. Overall, 90% of the students were placed during the 20203 placement drive. The highest package was INR 52 LPA given to CSE, ECE, and EE department students. The average package stood at INR 10 LPA. For production engineering, the highest package is INR 16.5 LPA, and the average package is INR 6.8 LPA.

Infrastructure: At our college, the hostels are very good and clean. The hostels are cleaned twice a week. First-year students live in the RNT Hostel. The mess is in front of the hostel. Two students live in one room. 2GB of data is given to all students per day. The mess food is all north-east-based. It does not taste good for other state students. Free medical facilities are provided.

Faculty: The teachers here are very helpful and friendly. They teach in a very friendly manner. Even seniors are very helpful; they share previous year papers and important books in pdf format during exams. Classes were started in August, and the midterm exam was conducted in October. The exams were easy.

Good college at a low rank.

Placements: Our college provides good placements. The placement scenario is improving every year. In 2022, the highest package was INR 52 LPA. Even the electrical branch got INR 52 LPA. The average package for production engineering was INR 7.19 LPA. The highest was INR 16.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, IBM, Mindtree, NTPC, etc.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very great. There are 9 hostels. 7 for boys and 2 for girls. First- and third-year students live in the RNT hostel, and second- and fourth-year students live in the Aryabhatta hostel. Mess food is okay. There are many canteens on campus. The sports complex in NIT is the largest among Nitas. Wi-Fi is provided with a daily limit of 1GB.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified. They are very helpful and friendly. The course curriculum is updated and makes students industry-ready. There will be 20 marks for midterm and 50 marks for end term; the remaining 30 marks are allotted internally based on class tests, attendance, etc.

I am fully satisfied with the course and faculty, and my course has good placements.

Placements: 90% of students got placed in our course. The highest package offered is 21 LPA, and the lowest package is 4.5 LPA. Maruti, Tata Motors, etc., come here. The college has a very good placement scenario, and the top companies that visit this college are Amazon, Flipkart, Paytm etc. The average package offered is 5 LPA. Overall, it is one of the best institutes to build a stable career.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent facilities, and every type of book is available. Well-equipped labs are available. The classrooms are well ventilated and have proper electricity supply. Students can explore in every possible way, and a big sports complex is available where students can play different types of games and sports.

Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and teach very well. 100% of students pass the exams. They teach every subject in a very easy manner and make the complex concepts simpler. They also give tricks to remember things easily, and the teachers are very helpful. Students can easily score good marks as they understand topics well.

Other: It is based on manufacturing of things and is a sub-brand of mechanical engineering.
