Short into - NIT Agartala.
Placements: Many companies visit this college during an academic year. In my branch, the maximum salary package offered is 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA, and the median salary package offered is 7 LPA. The companies are from MNC categories like banking firms, analyst firms, and some of the Big 4. Students get the role of graduate engineering trainee and some get the role of data analyst and SDE.
Infrastructure: Different types of laboratories are there on our campus including laboratories for transportation engineering, structural engineering, water resource engineering, geotechnical engineering, and environment engineering. The classrooms are Wi-Fi enabled and projectors are available 24X7. The hostel facilities are also good and it provides tasty food.
Faculty: The curriculum is of 122 credit which is spread over 8 semester exams. The course is good and they teach us what is needed to be a good engineer. They conduct two exams per semester, one mid-semester which is of 20 marks, and one end-semester is of 50 marks. The rest 30 marks are internal-based marks which are given based on attendance, class tests, and quizzes.

Best review for Civil Branch in NITA.
Placements: This year (2024), till December, almost 50-60 percent of students from civil engineering got placed in different companies like L&T and many other core companies. Packages offered from the companies were from 4 LPA to 8 LPA. Internships were offered in different government agencies, and many field works were also done. Almost all of the students got at least one internship.
Infrastructure: The civil building is one of the oldest buildings in the college and therefore has some of the best facilities on the campus. Starting from the biggest classrooms to the biggest toilets of all the branches, the civil building comprises projectors in each room. Hostel condition is moderate to good as RNT Hostel is new and has all the facilities required for the students. Mess food is not that good.
Faculty: Teachers are very good except one or two teachers from the civil branch. Teaching is pretty good, and they make us enough prepared for industry. Exams of civil are a little bit harder as the subjects are mainly numerical-based. Some of the teachers even give back for not having proper attendance in class.

Great placement and internship facilities.
Placements: The recruitment facility of NIT Agartala is very good. The average package in my branch is 5 LPA. Many renowned MNCs from the core and IT sectors come to recruit the students throughout the year. Also, paid and non-paid internships are offered, and every student gets an internship. For the latest update, 100% placement was from the 2025 civil engineering batch.
Infrastructure: The hostel rooms are well maintained. Wi-Fi facility is there. NIT-A hospital is there on the campus. Near the hostels, stationary shops, a food court, and a shopping complex are there. A gym is available along with a large sports complex. The mess food is also good. Classrooms have digital projectors. Students can borrow all necessary books from the library. Labs are also perfect.
Faculty: The faculty members are sufficiently qualified and knowledgeable as well. Some of the faculty members are very friendly with students. Teaching quality is also good. The course curriculum is very practical, that makes students ready to work in the real field. The difficulty level of semesters is like the other NITs.
Other: One can get a branch here as per his/her performance in JEE Main exam as well as preference given during choice filling. The best thing about my civil engineering department is that faculty members are very friendly and the branch has a great placement history. NIT Agartala organises a lot of technical & cultural fests throughout the year. There are so many clubs for the students to explore hidden talent. The campus is surrounded by lush green forest, giving a pleasing experience. Students can apply for all government & private scholarships, whichever is applicable.

This is all about my college NIT AGARTALA
Placements: Approximately 90% students were placed in my course. Lowest package is approximately 4 lakh per annum and highest package is 8 lakh per year and average is 7 lakh per annum. Top recruiting companies in civil engineering branch are L&T, Tata power, ABCI infra, KEC International etc.
In maximum cases Site engineer or Junior Engineer role offered by companies in civil engineering stream.
Infrastructure: The faculties is our college is very friendly so any student can clear their doubts regarding their subjects. There are various labs like Geotechnical lab, Structural lab, Transportation lab , Water Resource lab where students can learn the practical application of theories. The library in our college is very vast and they provide us books for a specific time period and after the completion of our course we are need to return these books. I was a day scholar so I don't know very much about hostel but the hosteler student told us that the hostel facilities are not up to the mark.
Faculty: Maximum faculties of our college are PHD scholars so they are very experienced in their subjects. The teaching process is very helpful for us.
The course curriculum made by them is relevant to our branch and this course curriculum helps us to clear the placement exams and interview so that I are able to get jobs. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate and about 90 percent student are able to pass these exams.
Other: I chose civil engineering because there are many government job opportunities in our state for civil engineers and in this stream I will be able to learn very much about a construction process. The campus life of our college is very enjoyable. There are 2 festivals named AAYAM which is tech fest and MOKSHA which is cultural fest.

Reviewing NIT, Agartala.
Placements: Honestly, being a first year student, I don't have a clear data of packages and internships, but talking about this year, 9.1 LPA was the average package offered in civil and the highest package of civil was 18 LPA offered on-campus. The highest package of Computer Science department is 52 LPA. There is a culture of appearing for GATE exam in the core branches.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is something which NIT Agartala has focused on. It has a lush green campus spread across 400 acres. Each prominent department has its own building. 2 separate hostels RNT and Aryabhata are available in the college. RNT is newly constructed, so it is one of the best hostels in India. Also it has very good sports facility.
Faculty: Professors are really qualified but in the first year, the students don’t get a chance to engage with their professors because the first year classes are taken by Ph.D. scholars and subordinates of the professors. Talking about exams, it has the same common pattern which is followed throughout India i.e., 2 semesters in one year and internals.

Value for money and satisfaction because of great infrastructure and faculties, decent placements.
Placements: Placement in our college is overall good. More than 90% of the students get placed each year. The highest package offered in NITA was 52 LPA, and the average package is 12 LPA. In civil engineering, the highest package was around 30 LPA, and the average is 9 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Tata Motors, L&T, PhonePe, etc. Regarding internships, almost everyone gets the opportunity to get internship offers. Top roles include data analyst, app developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and other facilities are very good in our college. The campus is surrounded by greenery, which makes it a beautiful place where air quality is very good. The buildings are also huge and equipped with every necessary item required for the students and faculty members. There are various canteens, and a food court is also there, which provides decent-quality food. There is also a sports complex on the campus, which is as big as the largest sports complex in the northeastern region. Overall, hostel life is great.
Faculty: Faculty, curriculum, and exams also play a major role in our college. Faculty members are hard-working and provide the students with as much help as possible in every possible way. Everyone is knowledgeable, and many are highly qualified. In our course, civil engineering, there are various clubs and Cells that provide great experience in real-life projects, which not only enhance our technical skills but also improve teamwork. Regarding exams, they are quite competitive, and one can't get proper grades without properly studying the syllabus, which is already given on our college's website.
Other: Every year, there are plenty of club events and two main events: Moksha, the cultural event, and Aayam, the technical festival. Students participate actively in every event to make it a success.

Pretty satisfied by the College because of the exposure it has to offer.
Placements: For the academic year 2024, the Civil Engineering branch got a placement of Average package 9.7 LPA, and the highest package was 16.5 LPA and the lowest was 4.5 LPA. Total number of companies visited were 14 specifically for Civil branch. On-Campus placement was 31% this year with the rest opting for M. Teach through GATE and internships at various companies available and many took off-campus placements ATIT companies. Top roles offered in my course was Structural Engineer and Construction Engineer.
Infrastructure: Civil Engineering Department has the best infrastructure among all other departments right after CSE Department. Hostel and department has 24 hrs. Wi-Fi available with distortion in connection sometimes. Classrooms are way spacious and nice lecture halls with projectors. Library is another well maintained infrastructure with more than 34000 books. Labs are well maintained but some equipments are old enough and needs to be changed. Hostel for the odd years are very good and then the food quality was initially below average but improved over time and now its better. Medical facilities are good but the doctor and staffs are really rude. Sports is one of the field where we have achieved many silver and bronze medals and few gold medals in various sports events like Inter NIT tournaments in Running, volleyball and Swimming etc. We also have Swimming pool here which is under construction but will be functioning soon.
Faculty: Most Teachers are very helpful and dedicated to their subjects, but some are quite rude at times. Most of them are well experienced and highly qualified in their respective fields many have done jobs in their sectors and share their industrial experiences with us. The teaching curriculum is the same as various other National Institutes are teaching a little backdated and but the knowledge gap is filled with extra curricular activities been assigned to the students like visiting other IITs and NITs for representing the institute as different representatives and giving students the exposure the modern and the latest world has to offer. Semester exams are of good level you cannot score well if you are not studying along the course as being taught by the teachers. Passing percentage is like above P grade in a subject which is equivalent to 5 SGPA.
Other: I chose this course just according to what my rank in JEE Main could have offered the best. The best thing about my course is that its syllabus is not very tough or hectic so we can get ample time for doing other activities like coding and participating in club activities and cultural programmes that occur form time to time. I think Civil engineering doesn't need much improvement here its teaching what relevant and making students industry ready. Numerous events take place very frequently and many great visits of IAS offices and Directors of IIM and IITs occur in the events we host as cheif guests. Fest like Technical Fest and Cultural fest like Moksha the most famous one had been organized recently in the month of January and was very cool & fun to be a part of. Campus is very beautiful and full of greenery, people from almost entire india constitutes the crowd mostly from northern india, western India (few), eastern India and southern India. Scholarships are available but it takes a very long time to get it processes. Extracurricular Activities are numerous and often confusing to choose which one shall be the best to be a part of, there is dancing club, acting club, coding club, robotics club, AI & ML club, and lot more.

Our college provides great options for middle-class students.
Placements: Our college provides good placements. Placements are improving every year. The highest salary package offered was 52 LPA. The average salary package offered was 19 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 7.2 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Amazon, ABB, NTPC, Indian Oil, Ford, Polaris, etc.
Infrastructure: The best part of this college is the infrastructure. Classrooms are very good. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled but the data limit is 2 GB. Laboratories are average. Greenboards and whiteboards are available. A projector is also available in every classroom. All types of equipment are not available. There is a great library, and several books are available. There is a hospital on our campus. We also have a huge sports complex in this college. The food served in the mess is average.
Faculty: Teachers are contractual in this college. All faculty members are helpful and friendly. Class tests are conducted in this college. Teachers also provide notes during exams.

Your rank is too low to get NIT. You have to satisfy with any government college or private college in your state. Try to get government colleges for this you can wait for 2nd round of counselling, if you won't get in first round.
