Satisfied because of the environment, faculty, culture, and placements are also pretty good.
Placements: In my department, 70% are placed already. The highest is around 25 LPA, the average is 7-10 LPA, and the lowest is 4.5 LPA. Core companies like L&T, Ashok Leyland, JSW Energy, Siemens, HMEL, JSW Group, Honda, Maruti Suzuki, and IT companies like Amazon, Myntra, Uber, Global Logic, Deloitte, etc., visit our college.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good, a central library is there, and free Wi-Fi is available. Hostels are awesome, with two boys' hostels, RNT and Aryabhatta, and one girls' hostel named Gargi. Mess facilities are available, like northern, southern, eastern, and western, and the quality of food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, helpful, and highly qualified. The semester exams are very standard. The course curriculum is good, highly valuable, knowledge-gaining, and highly purposeful, which makes students capable of theoretical and practical knowledge for industrial purposes.
Other: The best thing about this course is that I love it. There are cultural and technical clubs, and two fests, a cultural fest named Moksha and a tech fest named Aayam, are organized every year.

The college is really great and exciting.
Placements: About 70-80% of students get placed. The highest salary package offered is 60 LPA and the average salary package offered is 15 LPA. Top companies like Google, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visit the college for placements every year.
Infrastructure: We have our central library. Projectors are installed in every classroom for better studies. Wi-Fi is also installed for better use of online education. It provides top classrooms, food at the hostel, and a mess respectively. It also has a gym, sports corridors for indoor sports, a basketball court, a cricket ground, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is the best. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes the students industry-ready. We got quite difficult and challenging semester exams with a pass percentage of 40%.
Other: I chose this course because it is challenging and has great opportunities for placements. It has a lot of fests, connectivity, and many things at our campus for this course.

Really good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: In Electrical Engineering, around 90-95% of students were placed last year. The highest package was 52 LPA and the average around 13-14 LPA. Students are getting internships from the 3rd year. Students who are good at coding get placements in tech companies, and Google and Amazon are also coming to the college; some students are placed in Google as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of this college is very nice. The library is one of the biggest libraries in India, and in the library, there is a separate section for reading. First-year students get RNT Hostel, which is newly constructed. Single rooms are allotted for 2 people in the 1st and 2nd years, and from the 3rd year, each student gets a single room.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The semester exams are not very tough and also not very easy; you can pass them easily. Some teachers are very helpful, but some are not. In the first year, you will get enough time for other things like coding and playing something.

Will always miss the hostel life of NITA, fun and many more things, Bad placements for 2024 batch.
Placements: In my batch, 60% of students are placed. The highest package was 30 LPA, and the lowest was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Amazon, Google, Alstom, Tata Power, Tech Mahindra, Morgan Stanley, and Oracle. In my batch, 15-20 students got internships at companies like Oracle, Genpact, Zetwerk, and O9 Solutions. Roles offered are SDE, Analyst, Data Analyst, and Graduate Trainee.
Infrastructure: The campus is equipped with all the necessary infrastructure required. Everything is present inside the campus, e.g., a market, restaurant, shops, etc. All hostels have Wi-Fi (but it has data limitations). There is no problem of water scarcity. Canteens are good in number, as mess food is very poor and gets boring in a month. For sports, there are plenty of grounds for every game. Medical facilities are also available inside the campus but can only provide treatment for minor diseases.
Faculty: Faculty of my department is very sincere and knowledgeable, and also very helpful. Some teachers are very nasty towards their students, but they are not many—hardly 3-4. Teaching quality is average. The curriculum is relevant for students who are preparing for GATE and IES exams, not for students who are preparing for other competitive exams. The difficulty level is easy to moderate, as nothing comes outside of the teachers' notes in exams. The passing criteria are very normal; if you study one week before the exam, you will pass with good grades.
Other: One thing I would improve in my department is that the lab should be provided with AC, as it was very difficult to survive in the humid temperature. The campus is very fabulous, but the college is not organizing many events. Extracurricular activities are very few.

Good placement, good infrastructure, and faculty.
Placements: Most of our students are placed. For example, even this year's 2024 passout batch saw more than 800 placed students and other students applying for higher studies. A lot of good companies come. Internships from several well-recognized companies, along with placement offers at certain times, have also been observed over the years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, with clean, large classrooms, labs with proper instruments, good Wi-Fi, and a huge library with all the necessary books for the different courses. The hostel infrastructure is good too, with a slight needed upgrade in mess food.
Faculty: The faculty is highly qualified and knowledgeable and provides us with all the materials useful in the course curriculum. Occasionally, tests, quizzes and assignments are given to check one's performance. Midterm and endterm exams are held every semester.

Good and growing college.
Placements: About 80 percent of students placed in my course this year. The lowest package is 5 lac per annum, and the highest package offered is 52 lac per annum. The average package is about 11 lac per annum. Top recruiting companies are ONGC, Deloitte, etc. The percentage of students who got a PAID internship is about 20 percent, which is very low. Top roles include electrical project manager.
Infrastructure: The electrical lab is very good; all instruments are good from the second year, but in the first year, some instruments are not working properly. However, from the second year on, all instruments are excellent. In my department, we have AC classrooms. The WiFi provided is 2 GB per day. The library is very good; it has a wide collection of books. The hostel is average. We had a double occupancy room in the first year, and from the third year, we got a single room. The quality of food in the mess is not good; it is below average. Sports facilities are excellent; all sports grounds are available: badminton, tennis, hockey, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. They are well qualified; they are the best in their research fields. Some are average too, but some are really awesome at teaching. You have to put in some extra effort to be industry-ready. The pass percentage is 40 percent in each subject. The difficulty level is average. We have 30 for internal, 20 for midterm, and 50 for the end term.
Other: Because I am interested in learning circuits, the best thing is it has numerous labs, which make it more practical. The thing that can be improved is the introduction of machine learning. We have various events like the Ganesh Chaturthi celebration, Saraswati Puja celebration, Tech Fest, Aayam Fest, Moksha Freshers Party, and a 17-day cultural fest too.

Is NIT Agartala worth joining?
Placements: In electrical engineering, about 80% of the students get placed everywhere, which is decent. The highest package offered was around 50 LPA, while the average package is around 11 LPA.
Students who are sincere get internship opportunities, probably in their third year.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in hostels and on campus but it is not very fast. Classrooms for the first year are average and labs are also decent for the first year. The hostel is top-notch for the first and third years, and you will have to compromise on quality in the second and fourth years.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and cooperative. In the first year, a few Ph.D. scholars will teach some subjects, while others will be taught by professors. The curriculum is decent and was made by keeping the needs of students in mind for four years.
Other: I would like to improve the social life of the college by improving fests and events. Connectivity also needs to improve.

Satisfied with the college, campus, and infrastructure.
Placements: Nearly 75–80% of seniors from my branch were placed last year. Many of them also got internships by the end of their second year. The lowest package was between 3 and 4 LPA and the highest was up to 48 LPA in 2022. The average package was 12–13 LPA. Students of the EE branch got roles in both IT and core sectors.
Infrastructure: The faculty members of the EE department are very friendly and helpful. The library contains all the books in the department. We can issue 4-5 books for 2-3 months from the library. Daily 2 GB of Wi-Fi data is available for the students. The mess food is good but not the best.
Faculty: The teaching quality of the teachers is very good. If we face any problem with any topic, they try to explain it to us again and again. The topics that are taught in the class mostly come in the midterm and endterm examination papers. The pass percentage is nearly 80%. Yes, this course makes students industry-ready.
Other: I chose this course because I have an interest in electrical circuits and robotics.
