Overall you get to explore the outer world.
Placements: NIT Calicut's architecture department has an average salary of 3-5 lakhs per year. Out of 60 students, 5-6 get placed. Each student must complete an internship, usually in the fourth year. One company that offers jobs is LNT.
Infrastructure: NIT Calicut provides Wi-Fi throughout campus and in the hostels. Labs and computer labs are accessible to students. Food is provided by a mess, and students from other regions may need time to adjust to the food. There are different messes that offer different types of food, so students can choose the mess they like. The college has sports teams, and competitions are held within the college and among NITs. A health clinic is available 24/7 for students.
Faculty: The faculty here are very well experienced and are always available to help students on campus. The course curriculum is updated for each batch to ensure that students have the best opportunities. The semester exams are a bit difficult, but that is to be expected from a university that is ranked #3 in architecture by NIRF.
Other: I really enjoyed my time at NITC. The campus is beautiful, and there are lots of opportunities to explore and make new connections.

    No better choice in india.
Placements: If you want a good placement rate, architecture is not for you in the first place. But NITC is ranked as one of the best architecture colleges in the country, and it is so for a reason. Faculty and facilities both are top-notch, and the campus is beautiful, and the course is great.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, indoor badminton courts, basketball courts, volleyball court, football courts, canteens, hostel facility with Wi-Fi, are common facilities. Arch depth is one of the best buildings on the campus as well. The campus life is great with all kinds of programs as well.
Faculty: The course is excellent, with the best faculty you can have, but the course is very hectic and tiring. If you do not have a passion for it, you will be in for a rough couple of years. But if you hold on for a few, the course gets so interesting that you will have the best time, I can assure you that.

The students have full access to the Library till 11:45pm. With millions of books and each department have their own Library too Students will be provided with free Wi-Fi with from. Both hostels and classrooms. For 1st year you might struggle a little with the hostel but from 2nd year you will be provided with mega hostel, the infrastructure structure wise which is very good and one major problem is which is like 1km+ away from all departments but campus have their own free bus services. No other colleges in Kerala will provide you with variety of dishes like NITC provides, the taste is good average depends on the mess you are opting, don't expect an five star hotel like taste here cause you know it's a mess. You will never be disappointed with sports here.
Faculty: NITC have the well qualified best faculty members. The course curriculum you may find boring and tight during first year because the first year is kinda not that deep into the subject which we are studying, but from second-year onwards you won't be disappointed and which is one of the best curriculum in the entire country Exams are conducted and they are well planned about the exams and the timetable would be given to the student 2 or 3 weeks before the conduction of the exam and the dates will be announced during the release of the academic calendar. Those who failed or not able to attend the exam, they can attend reappear.
Other: The campus and life in itself is quite good at NITC. NITC celebrates all events with much pomp and glory. Probably this is one place where you can SEE multiple programmes happening simultaneously. The campus being a vast place offers enough space for evening walks and there are numerous places where you can be seated to enjoy some alone time. The campus remains alive till the wee hours of the day be it with the sports practices or the club meetings or just random gatherings of students. The cultural and technical fests Ragam & Tathva are splendidly celebrated and these are the times that are enjoyed the most at NITC. Almost all departments have their own fests nowadays so there is not probably a single day in the NITC calendar that is left void of merrymaking.

Interested and ambitious students can reach heights through our college.
Placements: Almost 20% of the students got placed in B.Arch. Some got government jobs. Campus placements consider not only CGPA but also other skills like digital designing, rendering, and knowledge related to company aims. Usually, B.Arch students have less placements.
Infrastructure: As an NIT, it provides all facilities common for both B. Tech and B.Arch students. We have 8 small boys hostels and 1 large girls hostel and 2 mega hostels which can easily accommodate more than 8,000 students, with this huge number of staying facilities, amenities, and maintenance is also well-organised with more than 600 staff members. Architecture department building has a few studio rooms, CAD and IMBD lab. There are more than 10 classrooms. Apart from these, campus has 1 indoor and 7 outdoor playgrounds with 2 gyms.
Faculty: We have experienced faculty members, and group discussions with facilities in required studios. We also have dield tours, live demonstration on construction activities, and young faculty members for doubt solving. Curriculum should get updated depending on needs and future works of architecture field nowadays. Most subjects in architecture follow a continuous evaluation policy so, not only the final exams but also working throughout the semester matters.
Other: This course is the best option for interested and ambitious aspirants who want to study B.Arch. NIT stands in 2nd position in NIRF ranking. It has faculty members who are experienced with more than 30 years in the field, good infrastructure, faculty members, and amenities are provided which helps in peaceful learning.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of less placements.
Placements: No placements are there for architecture students. The internship is compulsory for students in semester 9. The highest stipend as of heard is 10,000 per month and the lowest is 3,000 per month. For the past many years, L&T visited our campus. The intake of students was based on civil engineering knowledge rather than architecture knowledge.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good but we don't have enough LAN cables. The sports infrastructure is really bad and the quality of food in the canteen is not so good. Hostels are OK but the hostel food is not good. The infrastructure of the architecture building and the chemical building is good, but the condition of other departments is really in a poor condition.
Faculty: Ad-hoc faculty members are more in number than permanent faculty members. But ad-hoc faculty members are really helpful and knowledgeable. The student to faculty ratio 20:1. The curriculum followed is of the year 2010. Some subjects are not so practical. It will be understood better when they take us out for site visits.
Other: Overall, the college is good but with a poor sports infrastructure. The canteen food and also the hostel food is not good for outsiders. Fests are celebrated successfully and club activities are active on the campus.

Other: It was a good experience. Knowing people from different backgrounds, and their interests towards the subject of study. The infrastructure was sufficient, albeit slightly outdated was relevant to study and explore. The library was well-stocked. The faculty relied on the enthusiasm of the students rather than spoon-feeding on information. This, in turn, led us to develop curiosity and pursue varied interests.
