Admission to MTech at NIT Mizoram is based on a valid GATE score and aspirants must visit the official website of GATE to apply for it. The application fee for GATE is non-refundable and non-transferable. Aspirants can follow the step-wise application process mentioned below for GATE application:

Step 2: Fill out the application form with relevant personal, educational, and other details.

Step 3: Upload the required documents in the right size and format.

Step 4: Pay the GATE application fee through a convenient online payment mode.

The list of documents that must be submitted during the GATE application for MTech are as follows:

• Image of candidate's signature
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Passport-size photograph with white background (JPEG/ JPG format only)
• Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter's ID/ Driving License (Candidates must carry the same ID (in original) to the examination hall)
