NIT Nagaland MTech Courses & Fees 2025: Admission Dates, Placements & Seats

NIT Nagaland MTech admission 2025 is open as the GATE 2025 exam is open now. Candidates must complete the entire admission process to secure admission in the MTech course. Find below the detailed steps for NIT Nagaland admission:

Step 1: Qualify for GATE

Candidates must appear for GATE exam 2025 for the MTech course. The GATE usually conducts the exam in January. Admission to MTech at NIT Nagaland or NIT Dimapur is subject to a valid GATE and aspirants must visit the official website of GATE to apply for the same. The application fee for GATE is non-refundable and non-transferable. To apply for the same, aspirants can follow the step-wise GATE application process mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit the official website of GATE and register online.

Step 2: Fill out the application form with relevant personal, educational, and other details.

Step 3: Upload the required documents in the right size and format.

Step 4: Pay the GATE application fee through a convenient online payment mode.

Step 5: Accept the declaration and click on the 'Submit' button to complete the application process.

List of Documents Required during GATE application

The list of documents that must be submitted during the GATE application for MTech are as follows:

• Image of candidate's signature
• Scanned copy of PwD Certificate (if applicable) in pdf format
• Passport-size photograph with white background (JPEG/ JPG format only)
• Scanned copy of Certificate of Dyslexia (if applicable) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of Category certificate (for SC/ST) in pdf format
• Scanned copy of a valid photo identity proof such as an Aadhaar-UID (preferable)/ Passport/ PAN Card/ Voter's ID/ Driving License (Candidates must carry the same ID (in original) to the examination hall)

Step 2: Apply for CCMT counseling

Candidates with a valid GATE score are eligible to apply through CCMT. Aspirants must visit the official website of CCMT and register themselves. They must select NIT Nagaland as their preferred institute.

Step 3: Seat Allocation

Post the exams, based on the NIT Nagaland cutoff, CCMT will allocate seats online according to the candidate's GATE score. Leftover seats will be filled in through Institute Entrance Examination after CCMN counselling. There are special seat reservations for students belonging to special categories.

Step 4: Seat finalisation

Once the seats are confirmed at NIT Nagaland candidates can pay the tuition fee at the NIT Nagaland's official website.
