Review of NIT Puducherry - National Institute of Technology.

Placements: 95% of the students got placed in my course. 62 LPA is the highest package and 9 LPA is the lowest package. Samsung is the top recruiter. 100% of the students got internships in companies like Samsung, Intel, Wipro, etc. The top role offered by our college is in the artificial intelligence course.

Infrastructure: We have three computer labs with all the software that is required for our practice and development of our knowledge and we have a library that consists of many books that are useful for students. Our hostel is a little bit messy, but when it comes to food, it is adjustable.

Faculty: Yes, our faculty is very much qualified and experienced. The teaching techniques include the theory about the topics and the practical examples and the solutions to solve the problems. The course curriculum is very useful for the students. 40% is the pass percentage and the semester exams are moderate.

This is a college under development.

Placements: The placement statistics say approximately 95% of those who appear for the placement get a hiring letter. The highest package in recent years is evolving around 25–30 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. Zoho, L&T, ABB, SAMSUNG and many more companies recruit students from this college. In my class, people are opting for paid internships. Top roles include data analyst, data processing supervisor, program developer, etc.

Infrastructure: It's currently under development. Pentagon will take 2 more years; similarly, multiple buildings are being constructed for residence. Wi-Fi is bad and classrooms are not AC-fitted. The library is primitive and the labs are not hi-tech. Very limited sports facilities are there. Here we have a single basketball court, a single badminton court, a single volleyball court and 2 volleyball courts. Foods in a mess are not up to par. They are neither nutritious nor tasty but still, they charge 23,000 per semester as a mess fee.

Faculty: One teacher in CSE simply copied from the YouTube channel. One teacher gives a crystal clear explanation but doesn't hesitate to get students clean-brained in the exam. So at the very least, I can say they are qualified but not experienced and updated. The course curriculum is relevant. The difficulty of exams compounds with each passing semester, so be careful.

Other: I wanted CSE in an NIT and this was the most luminous option for me. I wish they should use digital methods to make classes more engaging. Leciel i is a cultural festival, but it needs a drastic improvement as all the invited guests are local and predominantly Tamil; there is no space for other languages. There is nothing like crowd life here.

Highly qualified faculty and multiple placements opportunities offered to the students.

Placements: NIT's holds good records for the placements for computer Science. At our college around 50-60% of the students gets placements in this course. Average package offered was 4-7 LPA. Top recruiters at the college were TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, Oracle, Cisco etc.

Infrastructure: NIT Puducherry is having really good infrastructure for the computer Science course. Computer labs were available for the students programming. Library was there in the college campus with all kinds of books. Wi-Fi, hostel, canteen and other facilities were also given to the student. Multiple sports facilities were available for the students.

Faculty: Faculty of the college was highly qualified and knowledgeable. In each subject there was highly qualified faculty available at this college. Teaching quality was also good. Course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. Various hackathons and other coding programs were organized at this college for the students developments. Semester exams of the college were not very hard to pass.

My life became hell when I entered this college.

Placements: Placement is improving day by day. Companies like cognizant, samsung, Abb, L&T, zoho visits here for placement drive. The highest package is like 20 LPA and the lowest package is like 2 LPA. Avg is 10 LPA. Rarely any body gets a placement here. Here there is no coding culture. Teachers are not serious even students are also not serious.

Infrastructure: Only moyar hostel has good facility. Bharali and bhavani hostel are like some third class government college hostel Additional there is money maniac. Money sole my friends 45 k earbuds Last month. So you have tocloseyour door and windows 24 hours.

Faculty: Faculty members are friendly. Some are experts some tries their best some are in capable and taking the best advantage of their government job. Cillege exams are of medium to easy level. National education policy 2020 has been fully implement here. Overall course curriculum is good.

Other: I chose this course by mistakenly thinking that this college will be in pondi and I will be enjoying in the beaches with foreign beauties but this college is in Karaikal district near coastal area. Karaikal is a rural are the nearest market from our college is 3 km. Campus life is bitter. Hot sun scorching heat, dirty water, water submerged campus, care less authorities and meagre facilities.

Mesmerizing and stress relieving.

Placements: In CSE, the placement is decent but in comparison to other colleges still need to be improved. By the way one positive news is that the placement is increasing drastically every year. The highest package of the college is 40 Lacs per annum but that was grabbed in off campus placement. For In campus placement the highest figure is approximately 22 LPA. SEE if you managers to have decent CGPA and have some practical knowledge in your subject easily you can grab 15 LPA. In it sector you will be offered roles like programmer, soft aware developed, backed and front end developed based on your coding and subject skills.

Infrastructure: This college is still under construction mode. So there is not much to explore. No proper Drinking water supply and daily use water level is below average it looks yellow and hostellers are facing severe hairfall and skin tanning because of the un hygienic water. No sports complex is there, not even proper grounds are there. Wi-Fi speed is very slow. Library does not have the required books. Its very small.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful. Many of them are great but majority of them are mediocre. Course curriculum is good but majority of the students do not prefer text book because the library fails to provide sufficient text books. Sem exams in first year and second year is very easy just open the book 5 days before exam memorise and vomit in the exam.

Other: Fest is there but there is a lot discrimination for other languages Like Hindi and Telugu, they only invite so called local stars who prefer only Tamil. Puducherry consists of Yanam, mahe, and karaikal but I don't know why before inauguration of every event they will play only Tamil Nadu state anthem. Campus life is horrible. Thanks god gender ratio is like 2:1. But the garden is ful of black flowers so there is no scope for white butterflies.
