The college doesn't provide a good way for internships and also, the branches like chemical and metallurgy have a very low placement ratio.

Our college, National Institute of Technology, is a very beautiful place of 75 acres.
Placements: 121.12% is the percentage of placements, which means the placement requirements are more than the students in our college. The highest package is 36.5 LPA. The average package is 13.8 LPA. The lowest package is 12 LPA. Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Samsung, Deloitte, etc., recruit. Up to 98.7% of students get internships here from companies like Google, Microsoft, Deloitte, etc. Top roles are software engineer, developer, full-stack developer, Data scientist, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our department or college include the Ethernet connection for each and every hostel room, and labs and classrooms will be neat and clean with the heaters. Quality in food is not bad, we can say, and in the canteen, it is okay. We have a playground for playing cricket, and we have a badminton court and many more courts for sports and games.
Faculty: Lecturers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach very well and clear doubts very well. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are as difficult as the explanation of the lecturers. The lecturers prepare the exam keeping the syllabus in mind.
Other: I am interested in doing software jobs and coding as well, so I have chosen CSE. I wish to start the core subjects from the first semester.

If you want to travel and explore Kashmir, you can get into this college; it's not that big.
Placements: In the ECE branch this year, 101 students got admission. I don't have any idea about the highest and the lowest, but the average package is more than 8 LPA. Wipro, GAIL, Infosys, and NVIDIA are the companies that have recruited, as far as I know. Regarding the internship, no such data is available to me. Students either go for chip manufacturing jobs or AI tech jobs.
Infrastructure: I'm in my first year, so I don't know about my department building or labs, but our classes are conducted in the attic, where there is a smart board or a planet marker board with no mic, and it's very difficult to hear. The library is excellent. No idea about labs. A very good attention is paid by the administration towards extracurricular activities.
Faculty: As you know, there are both types of teachers, those who deliver their lecture perfectly and those whose words can't be understood. I think it's similar to what other colleges provide, the traditional way of teaching. Hardly 1 or 2 students fail. End-of-semester papers are difficult, while midterms are quite easy.
Other: I chose this course because it was what I was getting in the CSAB round. Still a first-year student, so I have no idea about core subjects. Recently, Range Chinar 2.0 was held. It was quite good. Well, the college is surrounded by mountains and is on the banks of Dal Lake, so the view is breathtaking.

Satisfied with the college and its very good infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: 77% of students got placed in the year 2025. The mass recruiter is Nvidia, and an 8.6 LPA average package with a 19.20 LPA highest package for the electronics and communication branch. Many students got the opportunity for internships in very big companies and were allowed to sit in the placement of IT and CSE.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure and facilities are quite good. The Wi-Fi quality is a little bit lower, but the classrooms, library, and labs are very good. The quality of hostels and the food available in the mess is also good. The medical facilities are excellent in this college.
Faculty: Teachers are very knowledgeable, and their teaching qualities are very good. The course curriculum is very relevant to the course, and semester exams are a little bit difficult, but you can pass if you pay attention in class; otherwise, it will be hard for you to pass by studying one night before the exam.
Other: I chose this course because I think that it is the future of the world, and you can enter the core as well as the digital world with it. I don't think it needs any improvement. Events happen here like range-e-chinar.

Overall a good college with a beautiful campus.
Placements: The placement percentage for IT course for 2025 passout batch is nearly 75 percent with a maximum CTC of around 35LPA. There are nearly 8 to 9 branches in which you can pursue your B.Tech career. In last few years the placement rate of core branches has shown good.
Infrastructure: Students in 1st year to 3rd year have to share their room with four other students. 5 students have to share a common room but in fourth year you will be shifted to a new hostel which has four or single seater rooms depending on your CGPA. NIT.
Faculty: Faculty members are good. The time period of the 1st semester is around 3.5 months during which you have to give mid term and end term examinations. You will get a chance to witness a range of chinar in your first semester. The classrooms are good and a variety of sports are available.
Other: Campus is small in size but it will steal your heart with its natural beauty. You can witness your first snowfall here. NIT Srinagar.

Satisfied with college as you know location and its connectivity to other parts of India.
Placements: Placement is improving significantly year by year and every year. A few more firms and tech giants come here for the recruitment of students. You have to gain some decent skills on your own by ignoring the mediocre crowd here.
Infrastructure: Every room has 5 person occupancy. Wi-Fi is restricted and there is a single LAN port provided in every room. Department of top tech branches is good but not sure about the lower branches and the mess food here is below average.
Faculty: Teachers are not fully inclined some are good, but some are bad in terms of expression. They may have knowledge of the subject but they do not know how to express it. During exams you have to learn the topics and key points on your own and study from YouTube.

Life of students at NIT Srinagar.
Placements: Nearly 84 percent of students got placed with an average of 13 LPA, and the highest is 36 LPA. Oracle, Nvidia, and Google are top recruiters. Most of the 90 percent of students get internships. Most of the students who get placed here are more, and a few students are placed off campus, so no worries.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good, but not very much. The Wi-Fi is sometimes available, and the library has good books and a relatively smaller area and seating too. The food is not too good, but those who wanna become clean can come here. Most of the food served is north indian thali, and south indians must bring their own pickles and powders to survive. All medical facilities are above average, and the canteen is a better option for spending more money and time with friends. Sports and games are okay, and there is a gym for both boys and girls.
Faculty: Not only here, every college student has to learn on their own to improve their skills, and most of the teaching is done in Hindi. 75 percent attendance is a must to appear for exams, and the level of examination depends on the paper setter, and it depends on the students, too, to study and to get good grades. The password percentage is 95 percent maximum, as far as I know.
Other: Computer Science engineering is a good course and has more demand too, and therefore I chose this, and many students here earn money through freelancing and all.
