Satisfied with placements, as the college and students are doing better every year.
Placements: 80 percent of students got placed from my course. The highest package is 11 LPA and the lowest is 6 LPA. Top companies like Vedanta hire from our college. 95 percent of students got internships from our college. The top role offered in my college is project manager.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are decent and not bad, but not very good infrastructure. It has decent infrastructure. Classes are high-tech, and Wi-Fi is available all around the campus. The library is very good and the service in the library is very good in our college. The quality of food in our mess se very decent and edible. Canteen is too good. There is a cricket ground, a football ground, a badminton court, a running track, a lawn tennis ground, a volleyball ground, and a basketball ground.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and some of the teachers are very strict. They follow their rules very strictly. They hate coming late they are highly qualified professionals and very knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and some teachers are decent. The course curriculum is relevant and makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are not very difficult but not also very easy for someone who studies, it is easy for them.
Other: I chose this course due to my rank in the Joint Entrance Exam Main and the best thing about my course is hard work and learning. I like it. I wish to improve in teaching methods, as our focus should be on practical things, not on a theoretical basis.

College is good, and you will get exposure from this college.
Placements: In this academic year, the placements are average. Overall, approximately 70-80% students got placed. In my Metallurgy branch, almost 90+% students got placed with the highest package of 15.5 LPA. Average salary package offered was 8 LPA, and the median was 6.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are JSW, Vedanta, and many more. Almost all the students got internship offers.
Infrastructure: Laboratories for each branch are provided. Wi-Fi is established all over the campus. All classrooms have digital boards as well as whiteboards with full air conditioning. Hostels are quite average in 1st, 2nd, 3rd years, one has to share the room with 4 other students. In the final year, students are allotted a single room according to CGPA. Food quality is average medical facilities are good. Sports grounds are well-maintained, and all games are available here.
Faculty: Faculty members are quite good and supportive. Teachers are helpful by nature. You can even meet them personally if you have doubts. Professors are qualified and have studied at IITs. The course curriculum is relevant, and we are the same as the rest of the other NITs. You can easily pass the semester exam. If you don't have any issues with professors. Few teachers are strict, and students have to focus especially on their exams.
Other: Fests are quite usual, not too much. Extracurricular activities are organised. Hackathons and other events are usually organised in each semester. There is a restriction that you cannot go out after 8 :00 PM.

Review of NIT Srinagar Chemical Engineering and overall placement rate.
Placements: Overall placement rate of our department is 35-45 percent. The highest package is 14LPA, the lowest is 2.8 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Companies that visit our campus for placement such as NTPC, DRDO, HPCL, etc. 15 percent of students got internships from the companies that visit our campus. Top roles offered are process engineer, production engineer, plant engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities of the classroom and library are at the top level. Everything is working and is advanced. There are a total 5-6 persons in one room in the boys hostel. The quality of food in the mess is better than that in many private colleges. There are full medical facilities and sports and games are also available for the students as well as for the professors.
Faculty: They all have completed their PhD. Their teaching style is good. The course curriculum is more relevant from the second year onwards. The college exams are moderate to difficult. The pass percentage is more than 90 percent including all the branches.
Other: I wanted to be a chemical engineer from the start. There should be more practical experiments and plants visit for the students. Events, fests, connectivity, etc., all are good.

Good placements in the tech with decent faculty members. Best branches are IT and Mechanical.
Placements: My course is Electronics and Communication it's the toughest branch in this college. The placement is very low this year in the core section but in the coding or tech section the placement is very good with every 4 students, 2 students are of Electronics who got placed in tech. Companies like Nvidia came but not a single student got an offer because they don't have any skills.
Infrastructure: Facilities, I would say, are good compared to other colleges. There is a two-floor library where every book is available. You can study there for the whole day, the library is newly built. There is Wi-Fi everywhere, but the speed is very low, so you can't use that Wi-Fi. Classrooms are decent, 2-4 wall AC, smart board, etc. In hostel the mess food is very decent and sometimes very bad. The medical centre here is quite good it is available 24/7 a doctor is there during the daytime.
Faculty: Teachers are quite helpful, but some teachers are not. They are all highly educated professors. Teaching quality in the main subjects is very good. In the first year, you have to get a little bit of knowledge of all engineering branches. They make you industry-ready.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: In civil engineering almost 60 to 70 percent of students got placed. The highest package was 18 LPA, the average package was 7 LPA, and the lowest package was 4 LPA. The top recruiting companies were Vedanta, Tata, L&T, and PowerGrid. Only 1-2 students got internships in civil engineering mostly in Autodesk. The top roles offered were in management and finance consulting.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was somewhat average. The labs were not so great. However the classrooms and library were very good. The quality of the hostel, food, and other facilities was up to the mark with IITs. The Wi-Fi in the campuses could do better. Labs needed to be up to date.
Faculty: The teachers were highly qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality was best. The curriculum was highly advanced and I would say more industry-ready than IITs. The teachers were very helpful in finding internships and writing conference and journal papers. The course curriculum was the best and the teachers were very good.
Other: I wish the labs could improve. More events were needed.

Total of 94 percent of students got internships in companies like Powegrid, Tata, NTPC, etc. The top roles offered are project engineer and design engineer.
Infrastructure: The campus is good as it is situated on the banks of the Dal Lake. The classrooms are well organised, and Wi-Fi is also available. There is also a library with more than 5,000 books in it. The hostel is average, and the mess food is also average. There is a medical unit and a playground.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us the relevant syllabus that we can use outside the classroom. I found the course relevant, and that makes us ready for the industry. My semester exams are moderate, and the passing percentage is also around 90 percent.
Other: I chose this course because of the wide scope of the electrical branch. There are events and fests that NIT Srinagar holds every year.
