Awesome campus life with good infrastructure and facilities and a good number of placements as well.
Placements: Mostly, 60–70% of students will get a placement on campus itself. The highest CTC is about 15 Lacs per annum, the average CTC is 4 lacs to 5 lakhs per annum and the lowest CTC is 2 lacs, which is for sales analyst roles. The top recruitment companies are TCS, IBM, Accenture, Tata elxsi, Tarento, UST, Quest Global, SIB, Cadence, and Alstom, and many more companies are coming. Most of the students will do an internship during the pre-final year, as it will be helpful during placement interviews. Most of the students will undergo an internship in VSSC ISRO, IIT Palakkad, and many companies such as IBM, etc. Many students have the opportunity to work with industrial experts in FPGA, Embedded systems, IOT, VLSI, Robotics, AI, ML, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of NSSCE are really good, as it provide lab facilities, workshop facilities, clean washrooms facilities, smart classrooms, proper canteen facilities with good food in an affordable price, etc. There is a department library for ECE students as well as a central library for whole college. Students can gather knowledge through the books from the libraries. The hostel's facilities are also really good. There are 3 boys and 2 girls in hostels inside the campus itself, with proper maintenance and proper security guidance. The quality and quantity of food from the hostel mess are really awesome. The college also provides medical facilities for emergency cases and there is also a medical advisory for help. Students can approach the advisory and share their issues with the advisory and they will help to recover any issues.
Faculty: The teaching methods of faculty members are really good. They are teaching everything in a simple way so that every student can understand the concepts. Most of the teaching faculty members have either PhD's or are assistant professors. They have many years of experience and they have good knowledge of what they are teaching. The curriculum is relevant for an ECE graduate as most of the concepts in ECE are taught theoretically. But according to practical sessions, there can be more practical subjects in the curriculum. The difficulty level of the semester exam is moderate to hard based on the subject.

Views of NSS colleges of engineering .
Placements: This college has a very good reputation, and the college always tries to keep up with it. The placements vary each year. As of now, a recession is going on in the placement sector, but NSS still brings top companies like Astom, Kalki Teach, TCS, etc. for placements.
Infrastructure: There are plenty of clubs and sessions provided from colleges like IEEE, ISTE, etc. They conduct various programs to enhance the skills of students. There is a common library for college students that has plenty of book sources as guides for references and also provides a good atmosphere for learning. The college also take initiative in conducting sports and arts-related activities each year.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are great. They are very supportive and helpful. As electronics is a trending area in the present and future, there are always chances for getting better jobs. In the first year, every department has common subjects to study. In the second year onward, the real syllabus of electronics begins.

Overall college is good It provide a good placement and great atmosphere to study .
Placements: The placement cell of our college is really good. Last year, more than 90% of students got placed from our department with a good package ranging from 2 LPA to 10 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Alstom, Wipro, Infosys, Cognizant, etc. They offer good roles in both core fields and IT fields, and more students are getting placed in the IT field.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are almost good. They provide well-equipped labs and a really good library, which is very useful. There is free Wi-Fi inside labs and hostels. There is a canteen within the campus, and quality food is served in the mess and canteen. There are 5 hostels inside the campus - 3 men's hostels and 1 ladies' hostel. There is a working women's hostel where they arrange the stay for first-year girls. Hostel facilities are good. But the problem is there is only 1 ladies' hostel, and the entry is based on previous year marks. We access the PGs and hostels outside the campus if needed; there are so many options available. The sports cell of our college is awesome, and there are so many university athletes here.
Faculty: The faculty members of our college are highly qualified, and they have good subject knowledge and experience. Teaching quality of almost all faculty members is impressive. They are so helpful and supportive. They teach a very relevant course curriculum by KTU. But there are also some faculty members who dissatisfied me. Sometimes we have to face a huge workload; they give a number of assignments and tutorials. The exams are a little bit hard, but if we study, we will definitely pass. Our department has a good pass percentage.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in electronics and the placement opportunities it offers. Our campus is environmentally friendly and has many dogs and cows inside the campus. There is a tech fest, Dyuksha, and an arts fest, Noopuram; one of these events happens in a year. We will get good connections and friends from here. The Department of Physical Education is awesome, and there are many sports teams here. There is a music band, Rudra, and a dance crew, RDC; we can make use of these facilities and showcase our skills and talent. We can learn, live, and grow from here.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members but it had good placements in 2015.
Placements: About 70% of electronic and communication course students get placed every year based on their academic performance and based on their skills. There are many students who got internships from the third year onwards.
Infrastructure: Our college has a very eco-friendly atmosphere. Our college has a library with facilities for students for their studies and their reference. The college hostel provides good food.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very helpful and they are very friendly towards us with lot of knowledge about their particular areas. Every year, the university conducts exams. A higher percentage of students get passed. Our college also provides another IAS practices section for the industry.
Other: I chose this course to learn more about electronics and related theories. I think the best thing is that it is the best course. I would like to improve my skills. The college is situated in a good place so that anyone can easily access to college. Our college provides good cultural programs.

You can't even think off getting out of here after giving the 4 years of your lifetime.
Placements: Being a representative of students in placement cell, I'm sure that most of the students have been placed at various companies mainly giant MNCs like TCS, Cognizant, Wipro to name a few, and even in the banking sectors like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, etc. The lowest salary package recorded was 3 LPA, the highest salary package being more than 7LPA. Apart from placements, companies also provided internship opportunities to students during the academic year itself. Most of them were later recruited after passing out of college. Almost 70-75% of students have acquired offers from around 80 companies. The last recorded details of the placements are as followed - More than 80 companies, more than 400 offers, 35 and odd internship opportunities, and 13 overseas placements. (data as per NSSCE Placement Cell, dated on 19 October '21 ).
Infrastructure: NSS College has one of the best facility and faculty team that you'll get in Kerala Engineering colleges. The Electronics and Communication department has been acquired with immense amenities including labs, classrooms, department and central libraries, digital halls, etc. The quality of the hostel is decent enough for the stay and all Kerala-style food menu is available.
Faculty: This college has the best line-up in terms of faculty members. The most experienced professors who have been in education field are delivering top-notch knowledge and are very helpful too. The engineering course some what makes a student industry-ready as labs have less importance in the curriculum. The difficulty level of semester exams are average, if you can spend some hours studying, then there is definitely a sure shot to get good percentage in exams. The overall pass percentage of the college lies between 70 to 80%.
Other: The best of being in a government college is campus life. The college teaches us how to live a real-life and explore everything other than just being o bookworm. If you do so, this campus can give you the best of it, that it can deliver in your lifetime that is unforgettable. NSS has witnessed tech fests conducted by the students at the pan India level. The last tech fest conducted was Dyuksha'20 in the year 2020. Rather than teaching facilities, the college also has a sport and athletic support team, a dedicated PT cell is also available. All types of sports are encouraged and students have even won many medals and trophies in inter-college tournaments. There is also an annual cultural fest named Noopuram conducted by the college union, elected annually by the process of democratic elections.

I am satisfied because of faculty members, placements and campus life.
Placements: Our college has a great placement cell, and it is actively working to make all the students get placed in different companies. We have a good percentage of placements in recent years. Every year our placement training cell introduces new companies.
Infrastructure: Our college provides good classrooms, a better library and an awesome hostel with Wi-Fi. The surroundings of our college give a wonderful vibe, and it is also well-maintained. Labs have the latest equipment to do our experiments. The food quality is also quite good.
Faculty: Teachers are good, qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching skills and helping mentality are also good. The course curriculum is quite good, and it makes us almost industry-ready. Our teachers are very helpful when needed. Every teacher does the best in their job.

I am pretty satisfied with the infrastructure and the facilities provided by our college.
Placements: Our college has been providing a lot of placement opportunities for students who have above the eligibility criteria of 7 CGPA. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are some of the notable companies which visit our college for placements. The average salary package offered is around 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 7 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has a good library facility and a well-maintained lab facility with all modern equipment. There is also a conference room for every department. The hostel rooms are also pretty decent, and the food provided is also good. Our college also has a very good sports team which has won many medals in state championships. There are also courts for basketball, tennis and volleyball.
Faculty: Most of the teachers here are highly qualified for the position. Their teaching quality is fine. The curriculum consists of mainly 6 subjects and 2 labs for every semester. The college also provides training for placements with the help of its placement cells.
Other: The campus life is amazing here. We regularly conduct tech fests, art and sports fests also. I think the bus connectivity from our college should have been improved since it is difficult to get buses to go to nearby cities.
