Candidates are first required to fill out the TNEA application form. Candidates are selected for TNEA Counselling based on their Class 12 merit. Candidates must complete Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics as subjects.

Once the selection and registration is done, the candidates whose names appear in the TNEA rank list participate in TNEA counselling rounds. Prathyusha Engineering College is affiliated to Anna University and accredited by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). The college is a self-financed Telugu Minority Institution approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. The NAAC has accredited PEC with an ‘A’ grade.
