Good infrastructure and facilities.

It has decent academics with average placements and a good campus environment.

Placements: In CS, CS allied branches, and ECE students usually get better placements than others. Basically, it is the same as other Tier 2 colleges. As RN Shetty has a name, we get better treatment than other colleges in tier 2. The top recruiting Companies for our course are Mind Hives, Infosys, Cognizant, Oracle, etc.

RNSIT unfiltered: Faculty, facilities, and finals.

Placements: RNS IT has been above average in placements since 2022. But since 2024, there has been a drop in placement rate, mostly in Electrical and Mechanical branches. But in EC and Software-related branches, there has been a steady rate of placements in campus recruitment itself. The college has a greater reach to a variety of industry-incorporated companies. But there are little restrictions to do internships on our own before the 7th semester. Even after the 7th semester, students have to maintain a m...

Positive experience at RNSIT, even though there is a huge scope for improvement.

Placements: So far, 404 students have been placed successfully from my batch, making it around 35% of students. The highest package offered is 56 LPA, and the lowest is 3.6 LPA from Infosys. The average is around 4 to 10 LPA. Do not expect a lot of companies to offer above 15 LPA. Top recruiting companies include Rakuten, Oracle, LSEG, Infosys, Cognizant, Maximus, LTI Mindtree, Emphasis, etc. 266 internship offers (22%) are given out by various companies like Bosch, Oracle, Target, etc. Top roles offered ar...
