RNSIT review about College academics and life.
Placements: The placement in the CSE department is good with a steady placement ratio. The college conducts regular placement training and holds events to ensure students are prepared for actual challenges. The students are placed in good companies with an average of 8-9 LPA.
Infrastructure: Colleges' infrastructure is well developed and maintained. There are separate departmental buildings and a big auditorium. The hostel facilities are average, with curfew at 7 PM. The college provides sports facilities, a good food court, and a galleria for a random hangout spot.
Faculty: The exams are conducted thrice, with two internals and one external. The exams are based on the things taught in class. If focused properly, you can score 9+ CGPA. There is a minimum criterion of attendance of 85% you need to maintain to be eligible for exams.
Other: The cultural side is not very active. The college focuses on more academic development.

Ambitious environmental engineering college.
Placements: It is a very good batch. I study with 50 students in one batch which is pretty good only for a competitive environment. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, etc., come for the placements. There are many roles offered in my course like data scientists, data analytics, etc.
Infrastructure: There is marvellous infrastructure, very beautiful atmosphere, and environment-friendly infrastructure which are very simple and beautiful to see. We spent some time on campus where many trees are planted for maintaining a good AQI which is good for students and we have 3 big grounds for sports.
Faculty: Excellent faculty and assistants to guide us in every field like study, extracurricular activities, sports, and more. The competitive environment built the way and reason to study. The end-semester exam papers are of medium level difficulty as they teach us to handle the exam.
Other: Many fests and functions and many educated speakers from all over the world came to give us the knowledge of how the world works and how we should work to rule the world and many edutech fests were established for students present in RNSIT.

Brief review of college who entered through COMEDK
Placements: This branch offers good placement opportunities, with many reputed companies visiting the campus each year. Strong training, skill development, and active recruiter participation ensure students greater career prospects. I think the top recruiter of this branch is Oracle.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of RNSIT is very basic and not very desirable. Although it says it has a big campus, most of it is still under construction and development. The hostel is not good, it is very expensive, and the food is not good too. I would suggest not taking the hostel.
Faculty: Due to autonomy, the course has been somewhat updated. Most appreciated is the fewer number of exams we have to give, although compulsory attendance is very high (85 percent). The course is averagely relevant, exams are very easy and easy to score marks, and performance mostly depends on the teacher. Most teachers are nice enough to be cooperative with you.
Other: There are very few fests and less focus on cultural activities. College life is average, as most of the students are day scholars.

Review of 1st year student.
Placements: As I am a first-year student, I don’t have a total idea of the placements, but I know that many of our seniors are placed in very good companies with decent packages. Top companies also participate in placements and recruit students. The average package is around 4-6 LPA, and the highest package is around 54 LPA. Students do get paid internship opportunities.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very spacious, have good ventilation, and also contain projectors for smart learning. The labs are well maintained, and the computer-related labs have Wi-Fi facility too. The library has a collection of many books on different subjects written by different authors. The library is also very well maintained and has Wi-Fi facility.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, knowledgeable, and inspiring. They are always available to clarify our doubts. The teaching quality is very good. The course curriculum is also very relevant, which makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are good to face if we are well prepared.
Other: They do conduct fests, events, and sports as activities for students in which the students participate with enthusiasm. The campus is very beautiful, with trees, well-constructed buildings, a library, a food court, a pond, our founder RN Shetty's statue, and the temple which was built in the direction of our founder.

So placements of 2025 are good, the highest package is 50 LPA
Placements: Placements are good in our college, especially in Computer Science. In our course, the highest this year is 12 LPA. Many companies visit our college, and the internship rate is also good here. This year the highest package is from the AIML department, 50 LPA
Infrastructure: Hostel is okay. Wi-Fi doesn’t work well. Food is also okay. Classrooms are good. The library has vast books, and there is a digital library also. But the only problem is the hostel, it doesn’t have proper Wi-Fi, and our room bathrooms don’t have hot water, so we have to go to common washrooms to take a bath.
Faculty: Faculty members are good here. They support us, and teachers here are qualified. I feel the curriculum is relevant, and they give us many opportunities to build projects and get industry exposure, making students industry-ready. As I am still in 1st semester now, my semester end is yet to come.
Other: I chose Data Science because I was interested in data. Here, apart from curriculum, there are opportunities for many extra-curricular activities also.

RNSIT is a good college to experience college life with experienced faculty members
Placements: Placement training is provided by experienced trainers in the college from the start. We have a placement training center in our college. Students get placed in top companies with a good package. Since Data Science is a new branch started in the college, there are not many passed-out students yet.
Infrastructure: The library and labs are well maintained. Wi-Fi facilities are provided when needed. There are projector screens and a digital library which is easily accessible, and books can be borrowed anytime till 9 PM. Since I am a day scholar, I do not know much about the hostel.
Faculty: The teachers are friendly, clarify doubts with patience, encourage us in various situations, and guide and support us. They have helped students achieve a good CGPA. They are well trained and have good teaching experience. Exams are quite easy if you study well.

Great college with good placements, experienced faculty, and a strong Data Science curriculum.
Placements: Around 50-60 percent of students in our course get placed through campus. The highest package offered is around 12 LPA. The lowest is 3 LPA, and the average package ranges between 4.5-5 LPA. In Computer Science and Data Science, top recruiting companies include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Accenture.
Infrastructure: RNSIT has a very good campus with modern and well-maintained infrastructure. The college provides Wi-Fi connectivity in labs. All departments have spacious, smart classrooms equipped with projectors. The hostel facilities are also good, with separate hostels for boys and girls. The mess food is hygienic and provides both North and South Indian meals.
Faculty: Faculty members at RNSIT are highly qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective domains. The curriculum follows the VTU syllabus. It is updated regularly to match industry requirements. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty. The pass percentage is usually above 90-95%.
Other: I chose RNS Institute of Technology because of strong academic reputation and good placement record. The course is well-structured. It focuses on machine learning. It helps students build a solid foundation.

A vibrant college with really good placements
Placements: Students get placed in top companies like Amazon, Accenture, Capgemini, etc., and we have a placement training centre in our college, with the highest package of the year 2025 being 41.6 LPA and top recruiters including Amazon, Cognizant, Wipro, LTI, Cerner, Hashed by Deloitte, etc., and since Data Science is started here recently, there are fewer outgoing students but we are promised great placements by RNSIT.
Infrastructure: Since I’m a day scholar I don’t know about the hostel, but the campus is huge and beautiful, with a temple, a library, a digital library with excellent Wi-Fi, a food court, auditoriums, seminar halls, spacious classrooms with projectors in each classroom, a basketball court, and a playground.
Faculty: The teachers here have good experience in teaching, are very friendly and helpful, have helped almost all students in their class to get centums and distinctions, and personally I liked all the teachers of my department very much because of their help, we scored very well in our semester exams and obtained good CGPA.
Other: Our campus is located in Channasandra, there is no metro but there are a lot of buses, and speaking about fests, we have two main fests namely Parichay (intracollege) and Pantheon (intercollege), along with many other events related to sports, technical, and non-technical activities.
