Placements: In 2025, the CSE department recorded up to 772 job offers, with the highest package reaching 41.6 LPA, while internships peaked at 335 offers. The highest stipend is 1.1 LPA, with top recruiters including Tata Elxsi, Infosys, Cognizant, Emphasis, and more.
Infrastructure: All the facilities in his college, including the Wi-Fi, the library, etc. The canteen facilities, sports games, and other extracurricular activities are also there, which encourage the students to participate in all the sections and can gain skills all around they want.
Faculty: Teachers in this college are helpful and also very qualified and knowledgeable. Many things are taught slowly so that all the students can understand and increase the speed as the class goes on, but they make sure that all the contents are perfectly covered by the students. The semester exams in this college are also done with more strictness and are also doable.
Other: I chose this course accidentally, but after joining this college for the course of CSE CY, I really felt that I have chosen a very good college to achieve my career goal in my life. There are many tech activities like talentina, treasure hunt based on technology, and many concepts are taught by our seniors to reach the best extent of knowledge.

A supportive environment for technical projects and research.
Placements: I'm a part of CSE- cyber security 2027. We are the second batch for cybersecurity so, placements aren't done yet. Nevertheless, there are a lot of Mous signed and we also have the Samsung Innovation Campus which provides some amazing opportunities for future learners.
Infrastructure: Department of Cybersecurity has its very new building now, so the facilities are top-notch. We have great infrastructure like labs, classrooms, and on-campus project areas. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library is one of the greatest. There are discussion rooms for better engagement.
Faculty: We have very friendly and knowledgeable faculty who are very supportive and helpful. They guide us and mend us to become better persons for our future. I would like to point out one thing: the VTU curriculum is very outdated and nowhere matches with some current trends like cybersecurity. Internal exams and sem ends are easy to tackle with some boost-up preparations, but honesty, and listening well in classes are more than enough for a lot of theory subjects.
Other: I have chosen cybersecurity since it is an emerging course and is very interesting.

Well-equipped labs and good faculty members.
Placements: I am in my second year of Computer Science - Cybersecurity Engineering. Our seniors are in the third year, so there are no placements in our course yet. However, our seniors are doing many internships. Samsung visits our campus and offers skills training to us. Nokia selects our projects. One of our seniors is interning at Red User company.
Infrastructure: Our cybersecurity department has its own building. Labs are available. Classrooms are clean and properly maintained on a regular basis. The library has many books, allowing us to explore them. Sports and cultural activities are held regularly. Medical facilities are available. Canteen food is prepared with maintain hygiene.
Faculty: Faculty members are knowledgeable. They not only teach the courses we have, but they also teach beyond the syllabus. They help us develop various projects and conduct more research. They assist us with study materials for the semester exams. The passing percentage is above 95%.
Other: I joined cybersecurity because I am interested in this course.

Good faculty members, but not great placements. A growing college.
Placements: Around 30 percent of the students are placed in my college. The highest package was around 50 LPA, and the average package is 5–6 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Texas Instruments, Adobe, and CRED. Around 30 percent of the students got internships. Students have placement training in the 2nd and 3rd years.
Infrastructure: The classrooms don't have Wi-Fi, but the labs have an Ethernet connection. The labs are good. The classrooms don't have enough fans, which might be a concern during an extreme summer. Each classroom has projectors. There are sports facilities on the campus, but they are not well maintained. The library is very big and very good, where you can find almost every book you need. The college also has a very nice and big auditorium. The college has one canteen, which provides good food at a reasonable price.
Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified, and most of the teachers are very friendly and reachable. We have three internals in every semester, and then we have our end-of-semester exams. We have our LABS for each subject every week. The hostel has 3 and 4 sharing rooms.

Strong placements and good management with great campus life at RNSIT.
Placements: Around 90% of students were successfully placed during the placement drives. The highest package offered was 50 lakh per annum, and the average package was 8 lakh per annum. Companies such as Amazon, Adobe, Cisco, and Deloitte recruited students for job roles like software developer, data analyst, and cybersecurity specialist. There were over 120 internships available, with the highest stipend reaching ₹50,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Good infrastructure with smart classrooms and well-equipped labs. There is a health center as well. We have good sports facilities too. The campus is clean, green, and student-friendly. Regular workshops, seminars, and technical events add to the overall experience.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified. They explain concepts well. The pass percentage is high, around 85-95%. The curriculum is mostly relevant and includes industry-focused topics. Semester exams are manageable with regular study. Overall, the teaching quality is good.
Other: Our depth conducts various technical and nontechnical events like presentation skills, hardware, networking, and coding events.
