Our college is great with a good academic schedule and decent placements, but our faculty are bad.

Placements: Our MBA batch of 2016-2018 was a small one with just 16 students. Every one of us opted for major companies in the marketing domain. Five students were offered jobs in PSUs, i.e., one student got placed in BPCL, and the rest of the four students were placed in IOCl. Around 5 students got placed in Adani Gas Limited and IOAGPL, and three students got placed at RIL. Around two students got placement offers from both Adani and RIL. The salary package offered by PSUs is above 17 LPA. The salary package offered by Adani/IOAGPL is around 5.15 LPA, and RIL has offered a salary package of 6 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is fantastic as it is newly constructed. The location of our college is not very pleasing. The lecture halls are big with all the facilities like projectors for digital classes. The whole college is enabled with Wi-Fi. The library is not that big and has few resources as per the student strength. There are no medical facilities available on the campus since the medical centre is not functional. The nearest hospital is 30 kilometres away from our college. Sports facilities are good with courts for sports like basketball, volleyball, tennis, and badminton. Playgrounds for playing cricket and football are not available here. Hostel rooms are fully furnished and clean. The food provided in the hostel is great.

Faculty: The course curriculum for MBA is good. We are kept busy with case studies and assignments every day. As our college is in Jais, we didn't get good industry interaction. One of the operation faculty members named Dr Debashish Jena is the only professor in our college who has good knowledge and teaches well while the rest all are average. Two of the faculty members in our college are not good.

Other: RGIPT organises sports and cultural fests every year, and students enjoy during these fests.

Other: RGIPT, Rae Bareli is a premier institute for petroleum engineering. Bachelors entry through JEE advance sets the benchmark of quality for the students in this institute. The faculty members are excellent and the lab infrastructure is very good. RGIPT is among the few institutes in India, which provide placement to M.Tech students. Students of batch 2016 students were placed in Oil India Ltd. In the coming years, RGIPT’s placements are going to be very good.
