Absolutely dissatisfied with placements year on year.

Placements: Very few core companies visit the campus during placement season. However, many students get placed in IT companies like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, and cognizant. Average package is 3 Lacs per annum for the chemical department. Department does help with offline placements if needed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. Classrooms and laboratories are well-equipped. A new sports complex is being built for indoor games. College had its football ground which is seldom well maintained. Canteens are available for breakfast and lunch.

Faculty: Most of the professors hold a Ph.D. in chemical engineering or various disciplines. Not many are from industry. Subjects are quite interesting. Department is yet to implement computational tools in solving problems of chemical engineering. Most subjects contain maths and derivations which requires quantitative aptitude.
