Information about Bangalore Institute of Technology.
Placements: CSE (IoT and Cyber Security) is a newly introduced course, and the most senior batch is in the 3rd year. But placements will most likely be under the CSE branch. Top recruiting companies are GE Aerospace, Oracle, Fidelity, etc. Above 60% of people got internships and placements from our course.
Infrastructure: The course is completely Computer Science and Engineering but will have additional subjects like Cyber Security, Cloud Computing, and AIML. Labs are good enough, classrooms are a bit old school since this college was established in 1979. The library is small but has an adequate amount of study materials.
Faculty: The faculty is a little strict compared to other courses, and they are a little harsh on students. Teachers are qualified for the course, but there are a few bad apples in the tree, obviously. Especially, CAED will be taught in the first year, and the Mechanical Department faculty will take it for you. They are good at teaching but will be very strict towards you.
Other: There is not much campus life, so if you're choosing a college on the basis of the campus, then this is a NO GO. Also, the crowd is good enough here.

It's a decent college but I expected more from this.
Placements: It's a new course in our college; we are the first batch, so no placements have happened since we are only in the 2nd year now. Top companies like Wipro, Infosys, Cisco recruit in our college. Top roles are offered in our course, like cyber engineer, data analyst, etc.
Infrastructure: This is a very old college from 1980, not so much modernly developed. No Wi-Fi is there; classrooms need to be refurbished. The library is okay with limited resources. Our hostel is pathetic; it's too old. They still charge too many fees for that. The food is trash here, very unhygienic, and no cleanliness is maintained.
Faculty: Faculty is okay; that guy HOD is kind of hectic; he just has no knowledge. Teaching quality is okay. Our course is affiliated to VTU; it's a bit okay. I don't think it makes students completely industry-ready. Semester exams are pretty difficult; the pass percentage is around 80 percent.

Really good teachers and very good placements but poor infrastructure .
Placements: As of now I am still studying in 2nd year I don't have an experience of placements but as of asked to seniors the placements here are pretty good and almost 85% of students were placed and the highest package was 58 LPA and average is 10lpa it's pretty good college in placements comparing others.
Infrastructure: The main con of this college is it's Infrastructure it's a very small college (in acres) and the building is not as modern as other top colleges but I don't think this really matters as the placement here are top notch There are very few sports activities as there is no playground in the college .
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable and the exams also are conducted timely and all exams has a brilliant pass percentage the books and notes are enough for the exam and still only listening and attending all classes carefully is more than enough to get a best marks.
Other: I have choose CSE (iot including block chain and cyber security) as I have interest in Cyber security field .

A perfect place to excellence.
Placements: I chose the batch cos I was personally interested in this almost like 85%ppll got placed all over, oracle phones pe microsoft. Roles depend on the branch the companies wanna foucs on. Highest package was 58lpa and the avg for all it branches goes for 10lpa.
Infrastructure: Im not a big fan of the infrastructure cos the cllg is very old which established in the year 1979 so ofc cant expect a very good building but they are modifying all and they are planning to build a new one very soon and hostel is perfect with hygeine and good food.
Faculty: Yes the teachers are very helpful with decades of experience, they share huge amount of knowledge required for the present scenario. Yes the curriculum is relevant with well designed modern topics. I don't have idea about the pass percentage but the question paper is set in a good standard.
Other: I liked this course personally. I used to watch video of cyber and stuff from my young age so I opted this course. I don't feel anything to be added to my course its actually well designed at this point .

Small college, big minds.
Placements: I think the overall placement is 30% from college. My branch is fairly new and this year is the first batch to passout. There are 60 students in the final year, about 10 secured on-campus placement/internships, and 2-3 have done it off-campus. Top companies are Cognizant, Fidelity, Clarivate, and Mathco.
Infrastructure: College mainly has 2 buildings first is for mechanical and 1st year. Second is for CSE and electronics-related courses, both are 7 floor. But still a very small college. College doesn't have a playground of its own. Some labs are new, some are old, but no issues have been faced. Library it open Monday to Saturday, 8 am to 8 pm. The library has Wi-Fi. The hostel for boys is on campus, and for girls, it's 10 km away from the college, providing bus services to travel to the hostel for girls.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, and they only know what they are teaching. Some are knowledgeable, but most new teachers just go with attendance requirements. I think the curriculum is very relevant. Around 60-70% students pass the semester-end exam. It is set in a moderate manner.
