Good placements in 2022 .
Placements: In the year 2022, around 94–95% of students from the Petroleum Branch were placed in good companies with a good package. The highest package was INR 36 LPA, and the lowest package, I don't really know. The top recruiting companies are Reliance, Shell, Exxon Mobil, Halliburton, ONGC, Schlumberger, etc. About the roles of students, I don't know that much. From 3rd year on, students got internships at Halliburton, Schlumberger, and many more companies.
Infrastructure: Classrooms in some blocks are very old and not that great, and some classes are really good. The Wi-Fi system is very bad on campus; sometimes it works, but most of the time it doesn't. The library is very good; many books are available to study. I live in a campus hostel, but I have heard from my friends that the rooms are quite spacious and the food is also average. The food in the canteen is good, but the sports facilities are not up to par. 
Faculty: Some faculty members are very good and hold industrial knowledge, and some faculty members do not even know about the course. They just come to class, teach whatever they want, and leave without interacting with students. Faculty members are also helpful in many ways, and some are not. The curriculum is good, and it seems exams are tough if we do not study for them. Otherwise, they are average.
