The faculty was very good and supportive. It was a home away from home.

Placements: Approximately 60% of placements were offered during my course of action. The highest package was 24 LPA and the lowest would be 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies- Mount Meru, Reliance, BYJU'S, Yamaha, etc. Internship in a good industry is mandatory and 100% of students got the internships in companies- Indian oil, GAIL and Reliance.

Infrastructure: A lovely hostel, canteen and mess. It was a home away from home. Labs and libraries were well-equipped. The infirmary was open for us 24/7 and our college resided near Max hospital which gave a plus point. Sports like cricket, basketball, TT etc. were provided inside the hostels along with a gym both in girl and boys hostel.

Faculty: Teachers were young and almost everyone was an ex IITian. They were helpful and were great mentors. The curriculum was good but petroleum being a new course there was not a lot of practical knowledge given to us. Though our labs were equipped the course lacked in drilling's practical knowledge. But overall the faculty was very good and supportive.

Our college is perfect for education, but placements are average here.

Placements: Our college provides the best placements for CS and IT students. Petroleum engineers still have a way to improve. Petroleum branch is our college is a recently opened branch and has constantly advanced in this field. Somehow making relations and collaborations will take time. DIT provides about 70% of placement in the petroleum branch every year. The highest salary package offered is 12 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. The average salary package offered ranges between 4-5 LPA. Major recruiting companies like Cognizant, Infosys, Haryana CGD, LIDO, Byju's, etc., visit our college for placements. Top roles offered here are in the field of marketing, sales and research analyst. Almost all the students from our course get an internship.

Infrastructure: DIT has one of the best infrastructures in the country. Our college is equipped with all major amenities like Wi-Fi, petroleum labs, computer labs, soundproof classrooms with smart class features. Our college also has two libraries, a beautiful rooftop canteen, book store and printing facilities. Our college provides huge hostels within the campus which are beautifully done and are secure. Quality of food served is average. The cleanliness is great. Medical facilities are provided 24x7. DIT has a separate playground, and various sports activities are encouraged.

Faculty: Teachers are a very important part of any institution, and DIT has the best set of teachers. They are helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. They have a great sense of teaching. They are always ready for help, and they try to motivate you all the time. The course curriculum is perfectly designed, keeping in mind the industry standards. But students have to focus on self-study. Petroleum course has a lot to offer, so everything is not done in the classroom.

Other: Our college organises several fests, etc., throughout the year. One thing which I feel should be improved is the strictness. I believe college should be more flexible in hostel timings.

Review of DIT University.

Placements: The college does not provide placements in petroleum branch in the core companies. The college provides placement in a few marketing companies. Maybe you will get placement in some petroleum companies if you put some efforts. The college is still not working for placements so if you want to take admission you can take.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. The location of the college is awesome. Here you can enjoy life if you love to live in a winter climate as there will be a cool climate. The hostel is good, but the issue is it offers a huge amount of fee.

Faculty: If you take admission in this college, then you have to hard work. You will not get anything here in free like marks. If you do well, then faculty members will support students. All faculty members are well degree holder. They have good experience in teaching, and overall it is good

Other: If you take admission here, then don't take PE, civil, electronic and electrical branched. You can opt for CS and IT course.

The best infrastructure and the facilities in Uttarakhand .

Placements: In my course around 20-30% of placement is done till now and will be continued further the highest salary is around 3 Lac per month outside India in mount Meru company and 15000rs minimum. Top companies are Reliance, Mount Meru, Focus energy. The top roles offered are Mud logging engineer, analytic data engineer. 21 Lac per annum is the highest package and 1.8 Lac per annum the lowest package. 90% of students got internship in reliance, ONGC, iocl.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present and labs are there with max equipment for practical knowledge and for experiment. Classrooms are made soundproof and best infrastructure in Uttarakhand with camera and around 70 bench capacity Tutorial classes are run in other class (small one) All the facilities are good and mesh food in avg, medical facilities are excellent, ground is not available but some space is given to play and practice.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful and like friends, they support in every moment. Best knowledgeable teachers are present here to help in paper presentations and many other things around. The course is designed for both the upstream and downstream petroleum engineering which is the best part.

Other: I want to become an engineer so I choose this course. The crowd is good and all the peoples are helpful.

It is an average college in terms of placements.

Placements: Placements are good for CS and IT branches, but nothing has been done for other core branches like civil, mechanical and electrical. The placement cell is very ignorant and gives no effort to bring companies to the college. Not even a single core company has visited the college to recruit petroleum engineers.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite alluring. Classrooms in new buildings are well-built. The library is huge but lacks quality books. Wi-Fi facility is very poor. Good canteens and cafeteria are available but do not offer too many options. The hostel building is great, but one cannot expect much about the mess food.

Faculty: There are some exceptional teachers on the campus with great knowledge of their subject. Some of them are from IITs, and some of them are from NITs. A lot of teachers lack teaching skills, and nothing has been done to train them. The student-faculty ratio is 70:1 in most of the classes. The course curriculum is excellent, but industry exposure is quite poor.
