DIT University Dehradun has released the placement report 2024 for School of Engineering & Technology and School of Computing. As per the SOET report, highest and median package offered was 7.25 LPA and 5 LPA. The placement rate recorded was 64.61%. 

As per the SOC report, placement rate recorded for this School was 62.3%. Highest and median package offered was 44 LPA and 6 LPA. 

The university total fee is cumulative of multiple components such as tuition fee, hostel fee, caution deposit, etc. Candidates have to pay some amount of the total fee at the time of admission for seat confirmation. Moreover, some of the fee components are one-time chargeable, while some have to be paid annually/semesterly. DIT University BTech fee tuition fee ranges between INR 3.9 lakh and INR 9.4 lakh. DIT University BTech is a four-year course divided into eight semesters at the UG level. The UG-level course is offered across different specialisations. Some of the specialisations in which the course is offered are Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, etc. The university also offers lateral entry to BTech courses. The university admits candidates to the BTech courses based on JEE scores/merit in Class 12.

Admission to the BTech course is based on the JEE Main score or Class 12 marks. After completion of the selection rounds, the university releases a merit list to announce the names of the shortlisted candidates. The shortlisted aspirants are called for counselling and document verification. It also offers direct admission to the Class 12 toppers (10% seats). Aspirants need to pay a course fee to confirm their seat in the university. 

Apart from this, the selection criteria for BTech Lateral Entry is merit-based counselling on Diploma/BSc Percentage /UKSEE Score.

The university may not offer direct admission as primarily the selection is merit-based. Thus, the aspirants Class 12 scores are considered. However, for the BSc Nursing course, students have to take the DITU Nursing Entrance Test. To enquire about admission under management quota, the students should reach out to the admission office. 

The students wanting to pursue Diploma in Pharmacy (DPharm) course from DIT University should have passed Class 12 or equivalent exam from a recognised board. In addition, the qualifying exam should have been passed from a recognised board. Students must also hold the documents or pass certificates at the time of form filling or admission.
