Satisfied because the faculty and hostel infrastructure is good.

Placements: Around 83% of students got placed in our college. The highest package is 24 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Companies like Bosch, Apple, and many good companies offer better packages on our campus. HRD department always helps to build your career and they teach you how to prepare for the interview.

Infrastructure: The hostel is good with Wi-Fi and the library is nearby the hostel and the food is of good quality. The food is good and healthy, and the hostel and infrastructure are good. They have a playground nearby so we can play and enjoy. Electricity is 24/7 available and no water problem.

Faculty: Faculties are excellent and they teach you in a very good way that you can understand easily. HRD department helps to prepare for the interview and they teach how to behave and teachers from outside will be there, so we can interact with them and gain knowledge.

Other: Events will be conducted regularly and sports activities as well.

The campus is good but it can be improved in many aspects.

Placements: The percentage is gradually increasing, especially in mechanical it's very less. IT jobs you get quite easily, the average package is 4LPA but they are telling it will increase not sure when. Accenture, Mind tree, Toyota, and TVS many companies that are tieing up in the hope, that they will provide better placement with higher packages soon. The campus is good but it can be improved in many aspects.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is provided, but you have to register in the library for accessing it. The food in the canteen is quite good. Sports activities are good but they won't allow you to train for a long time, before any tournament it's like they allow only before 2-3 days this is a major drawback and there could be a better canteen as the existing canteen for lunch is closed only snacks counters are available.

Faculty: Teachers are good but can't say that every teacher is. Like it all depends on who, not everyone is good few are very bad and scary to mess with. The pass percentage is around 75%, I guess but it depends on VTU and RGT, so we can't say exactly blame it on college either.

Other: More college fests and proper canteen to have lunch, more industrial visits, better placement have to be provided.

Satisfactory facilities and Good infrastructure.

Placements: Since mechanical engineering is the evergreen course, but placements for such courses is less in our college. Toyota company visited last year and recruited a few students. And many mechanical students are rushing towards the IT sectors for jobs due to lack of placements for mechanical engineers.100% students got internship but from different companies such as BOSCH REXROTH, DRDO, HAL, BEML, MARUTI SUZUKI etc.

Infrastructure: SJB institute has a very huge campus with separate buildings for each department. The college has playgrounds, auditorium, hostels, library, etc. The hostel is very spacious but the taste of food is not up to the mark and there is a hospital in our campus in case of any emergencies. There are many achievements in sports games such as basketball, kabbadi volleyball, cricket, athletics.

Faculty: The faculty members are very helpful and qualified with good experience in their respective fields. The lecturers keep the records of performance of students in every aspect such as attendance, internal marks, external marks and conduct parents-teachers meeting.

Absolutely satisfied with college because of placements.

Placements: 70% of students were placed in our course. The highest salary offered= 3.5 Lacs the lowest salary offered= 2.8 Lacs Average salary offered= 3.3 Lacs Tcs, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, gate and HP were the top recruiting companies. 80% GOT internship from our course.

Infrastructure: The classrooms were well-equipped with projectors, Wi-Fi and lighting system. The Labs were also fully equipped with all the appratus and machines required for our practicals. Our library had all the books of all the branches that too in lot. We also had digital library. The hostel was also clean and with all the facilities. The food in the mess was delicious.

Faculty: The teachers for our branch were awesome and well qualified. The knowledge of the teachers were great. Any problem they used to resolve with in fractions. The helped a lot in our project work with their efficient knowledge. The curriculum had a great help for students in getting them ready for industry. Specially our HR session used to be great.

Other: I chose mechanical branch. As I love this branch, we get to work with physical stuff in this branch. We had fest and physical activities once a year and it used to be very refreshing.

I am absolutely satisfied as there are good faculty members and placements.

Placements: Placements in SJBIT are good, especially for computer science and electronics branches. The highest salary package offered for them is 8-10 LPA, and it may even go higher. Placements for mechanical engineering and civil engineering are not as good as CS. The salary package offered is from 2-7 LPA.

Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facilities provided by the college are good. Classrooms are good with smart learning facilities. The library is good and has a lot of good books. It is peaceful for students to learn. Medical facilities are good as BGS is within our college campus. Sports events are conducted.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good and friendly. They prepare you for future jobs with all the preparation and guide you in a proper way. The course curriculum is good as it follows VTU's course curriculum. It prepares students as per the industry requirements.

Other: Many events and fests are conducted in the college to encourage students. Campus surrounding is good.

This is a bad college, and I'll not recommend others.

Placements: The college has poor placement record, and it is overhyped. No major core company visit the campus for mechanical engineering students. Forget good/big core companies like Toyota, Volvo, etc. Even small sundry mechanical companies don't visit the campus. You should rely on TCS and Tech Mahindra that too if you are lucky. The HOD is a dolt as he has no knowledge, in fact, he is not even from the mechanical background, he just has an ME in automobile engineering. As per VTU rules, HOD must be a PhD holder, but still, how did he become a B.Com HOD, Chamchagiri. Mind you, first, it is a money extortion place, and next, it is a college. Most of the lecturers have failed, and then somehow completed M.Tech and landed a job as a lecturer as they could not find any job anywhere.

Infrastructure: The college just appears good, but there are no basic amenities like uninterrupted power, water in washrooms, etc. There is no proper parking facility even after charging Rs. 3,000 per year exclusive for parking. The labs are useless as all are old and had second-hand scrap refurbished equipment. There is a poor maintenance in the college. And pleaydony fall into the trap. They said that they'll provide free internet/Wi-Fi facility, but in reality, they have done none of that. Even college system has slow speed Wi-Fi facility. There are no medical facilities. There is no encouragement to students for sports. There is a cafeteria on the campus, but it is horrible and highly expensive. The quality of food is poor as you'll find insects like cockroaches, etc., in it.

Faculty: The faculty members in the college are below average, and they have no in-depth knowledge. They can't even explain by seeing the textbook. We are studying a course guided by the worst head of the department. Maybe there are 1-2 good faculty members in the entire department. They have miserable communication skills. They never encourage extra learning and never even allow you to present papers. If you present a paper, then they will add their name as author and publish it in their name, and it is pathetic. They will arrange AutoCAD and CATIA training, but trust me for a quarter of price charge, you can get better training outside.

Other: One of my batchmates once told me that a physics department lab faculty demanded Rs. 16,000 for a candidate to clear all exams as he was absent and short on attendance. I also heard one day in a bus that our principal demanded a "bottle" in exchange for hall ticket. Even after reading all these, if you still want to join this college than one can only pity you.

Facts about SJB instute of technology.

Placements: In our college there is a special training for the placements which is HRD. Basically mechanical students are not placed well, CS IS, EC and EEE students get more opportunities in placements. Even civil students get less placements but it's better than the mechanical students. In this year companies entering the college has been increased my seniors are well placed.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise our college is well built, it has a different building for different departments. Toilets are kept clean drinking water is good. Classrooms are modernized with projector. There are three food stalls which is really good. Has a good parking for two and four wheelers.

Faculty: Faculty are well trained. Newly our college has done digitalization by giving faculty members iPad where in all the work can be done within it even attendance. Course offered are pitty good. Each department has 1:10 faculty to student ratio. After to the entry to the particular department industry visit will be there. Faculty members are good helpful and well qualified.

Other: There are separate individuals branch fest other than that the college main fest is named as varchasava which will be in even semester. Scholarship will be given yearly who all applied for respective things. Like cricket, kabadi, basketball, volleyball has more scope in our college.

Good college but very strict in case of attendance.

Placements: Overall placement of the college is good. Mechanical core companies are often less, but other branches like CSE ECE EEE ISE, the placements are good as most of them will be placed. Other branches core companies are high and also we get lots of pool campus interviews which mostly are held in our college.

Infrastructure: In the case of infrastructure, the college has desperate blocks for separate departments, like civil Andrew mechanical are in a building where two blocks separates us. Similarly it is for CDE ISE, ECE EEE, the infrastructures overall good, but the distance to college from the bus stop ***. It takes you 1 week to get adjusted, later on it will be a easy go for you people. And huh the college has got a OKAY canteen, where the taste and the prices are okay.

Faculty: Everyone knows the faculty members of mechanical engineering will be cool, but comparing to our college, it's like 60-40. the teaching is okay, need to make a go yourself. Talking about the other departments I hear a good reviews especially ECE and EEE, but I haven't noticed such thing, I mean to say we will be busy in the classes.
