Our college is very good in placement and facilities.
Placements: Above 80% of students are placed in placements. This will help every student's life. I don't know the package offered for my course. The companies are there for internships, like HCL, TCL, and Wipro. Many engineering students are placed in our college. Other department students placed very well in our college.
Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure was superb. Many courses are available at our college. Labs are always superb. Unlimited Wi-Fi is available on the college campus and hostel. And also available for staff. In my college library, there are more than a million books.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful at our college. Our college staff is very qualified and very helpful. In our college, the president and vice president are available. Semester exams and informative assessment tests are very normal and sometimes hard in our college.
Other: I love electrical and electronics engineering courses. So I chose this course.

As I am a hosteller in our college, this college is very good as we expect.
Placements: Placements are excellent in our college. From the first year, placement training is conducted and conduction will be very easy to understand. Very interactive placement training is conducted this year. Our college has tie-up with many foreign companies also.
Infrastructure: The course I have taken is very good and the infrastructure and the classes will be nice. According to the hostel, it will be moreover nice. The food provided is only vegetarian and the food will be average. If you are a vegetarian, it is one of the best hostels for them.
Faculty: Faculty members of our course take care of every student and also they advise for study easily. Our college is autonomous and the curriculum is good. There are three exams conducted in our college excluding the semester exam.
Other: Overall, our college will be good for all types of students.

I am satisfied in many ways possible, and the environment of our college is good.
Placements: Almost 90% of the students got placed. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. ABB, Electronics and embedded UR are some of the companies that came for recruitment. Almost 60 to 70% of the students got internships in different companies. Machine designer and chief engineer are some of the common posts offered by companies.
Infrastructure: Our campus has all the labs and facilities related to our course, and our college Wi-Fi can be accessed very easily. The college hostel is quiet and peaceful, and the environment of our college is good as compared to any other college in Chennai. So, it is good to be a hosteller.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful to every student, and the teaching quality is good. Management is updating students in every industrial aspect. The curriculum is updated often based on the recent advancement and developments in the field.
Other: I have chosen this course because this course in this college is good compared to any other course. Many industrial visits should be given to the students by the college.

SVCE - average overall, placements is good, highly recommended to students for Masters degree.
Placements: Sri Venkateswara College of Engineering - SVCE has a good record in placements over the decade. Around 90% of the students who have enrolled in for placement opportunities will get placed. The criteria is you need a minimum of 6.5 CGPA and no pending arrears. No history of Arrears should be maintained for core companies. The number of core companies are less in number. Average salary offered is 5 to 6 LPA. The lowest would be at least 3.3 LPA and the highest 20 LPA. Top recruiting companies in ECE department includes Amazon, Atmel with the lowest package of 3.3 LPA, the highest 10lpa and with average of 4 LPA. Internship is provided via hackathon would be around 3 teams (12 people approximately).
Infrastructure: The college is doing a good job in providing basic infrastructure like Wi-Fi, lab, Classrooms. And the library is so huge you can find all references and textbook in the library. During rainy days it would tough to walk around. SVCE has over 9 departments which includes EEE, ECE, CS IT, AUTOMOBILE, MECHANICAL, BIOTECHNOLOGY, MARINE. In hostel infrastructure and food is okay and there is no international Hostel facilities. The quality of food in canteen and mess is average you can't find a variety of dishes. A nurse is always available in the college for medical assistance. Students have a variety of options in sports football, basketball, cricket, hockey and much more. The major sports will have a well-maintained ground.
Faculty: Professor at SCVE is close to average because not all professor are qualified and knowledgeable only few have their PhD'S. But most of the staff have a friendly relationship with students. They will encourage students in doing projects and in entrepreneurship. Syllabus is recently changed according to industry level yet it won't be industry ready but with few internship and online courses, you have high chances to get a Job.
Other: I choose ECE department. Since I was passionate about Hardware stuff and I was quite good at programming. College has to improve on quality of syllabus. Events are conducted in normal manner, campus surroundings is nice.

The college can do better if it supports students.
Placements: SVCE is the best college for placements. Companies related to all streams arrive at the campus. Students are allowed to choose one from multiple offers. The placement cell provides training to the students. In addition to that, mock placement drives are also conducted in the pre-final year.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is moderate. Almost all the facilities are available. But, the problem is that we are forbidden to use a lot of facilities or have to use them within certain restrictions. For example, we are not supposed to take notebooks inside the library to prepare our notes.
Faculty: All the teachers are not good, and only a few teachers are knowledgeable. They follow different techniques of teaching and provide good examples for each concept. Some of the faculty just discourage and demotivate students, and their teaching is very poor.
Other: Each department conducts technical Symposium, but they're not up to the mark. They can do better. They're not guided by a proper coordinator. Some internal clubs like IEEE student branch, care club, music club, etc., are extremely good. They are active and provide a good platform to grow your extracurricular skills.

Placements: Placements in Sri Venkateswara College receive major reputation. Major tech, start-ups and IT companies like Accenture, Freshworks visit here for placement drives. Almost 98% of candidates who opt to sit for placements get placed. Mock placements saw Byju's and Maersk to name a few. The placement cell is effective all year round. The placement director is very informative about the trends in the job market.
Infrastructure: Sitting on the outskirts of Chennai, SVCE is a two-hour long drive from the hub. of the classrooms are well-equipped and with a projector and an airy and spacious ambience. The campus is surrounded and contains by rich vegetation of flora. The hostel rooms are double and triple sharing. There are separate hostels for the accommodation of ladies and gents. There is also a faculty quarters right next to the hostel blocks. The library has centralised air-conditioning and is well-equipped with the best books of a variety of authors. There are CCD and other canteens to cater to food needs.
Faculty: The college is affiliated to Anna University till 2019 for the 2019 batch. The new autonomous curriculum is packed with updates in subjects and sciences and practical and laboratory sessions. Blackboard and projectors are seen in every classroom, and either of them is used according to the students' request. Industrial visits are planned once a year.
