A well-rounded academic experience with vibrant campus life.
Placements: As far as I know, no student from my course (B.Sc. life sciences) has received a placement through college. However, placements are offered in other courses. For example, I know a B.Com (Hons) student who secured a placement with a minimum package of 6 LPA. Our college focuses more on academics, and I study a wide range of subjects like zoology, botany, and chemistry, along with skill enhancement, value-added, and general electives courses. Internships or placements for science courses are limited, and students mostly pursue higher studies or research opportunities after graduation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my department is well-equipped and efficient, with all necessary instruments available for practical work. Each subject has a dedicated lab, and some have multiple labs to accommodate students better. The college provides campus-wide Wi-Fi access for all students. The library is comprehensive, offering a wide range of course-specific books, which can be easily borrowed. Classrooms are spacious, with ample seating and equipped with presentation facilities to support interactive learning.
Faculty: All the teachers in my department are helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified to teach at the college level. The teaching quality may vary slightly depending on individual style and student preference. The course is well-structured and aligned with the curriculum, offering a solid foundation for industry-related roles, especially if one studies with focus and dedication. Semester exams are challenging, but around 80% of the questions can be prepared through previous year question papers, which are easily accessible. Overall, the academic environment supports learning and growth if approached with consistency.
Other: Initially, choosing this course felt like a mistake, but over time I've come to appreciate it. The programme offers a broad foundation in Biology, opening doors to various disciplines like microbiology, biotechnology, and bioinformatics for higher studies. One of the highlights of our college life is the vibrant fest season. Our college, being a part of Delhi University, hosts some of the most awaited events, attracting students from across the city. Attending these fests has been one of the most memorable experiences of my life. So lively that even students from other colleges try to sneak in.

Best thing about this college is that we get the best concert in the whole DU.
Placements: There are total 120 students in my course. The highest package is upto 30 LPA, and the lowest salary upto 3 LPA - 5 LPA. There are many types of roles offered at this college. Also, they give you placement even after you graduate. Top recruiting companies visit from the whole over India.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are clean. College campus is too big. Canteen is nice with quality food and tasty. We have big grounds and also a maggi point. Library is on two floors and also has every type of book you want. It also has air-conditioned classroom. Everything is so organised.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and qualified from very good universities. Some are from foreign universities. Semester exam is easy, and you can score really well. If you just pay attention in class, we also have the best concert in DU, and this course is very good for industrial jobs.
Other: I chose life science because it gives us a variety of options.

Overall, it is a great college. I recommend students join it.
Placements: Placements in the college are very nice. We also have a placement cell in the college and it is also decent. Internship fares also take place every year where we can participate and get internships from big companies. Overall, I have a good experience. It is actually decent.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library, washrooms, ICT labs, hostel, and everything available are very good. Classes are not air-conditioned but okay. Hostels offer 2 seats per course, one for a guy and one for a girl. We get it based on our score and stuff. Labs are also very good.
Faculty: Faculty members are very nice, especially the chemistry department. In the Arts, sociology, and English departments, the faculty members are very nice. Overall, it has amazing faculty. Exams are timely done and surprisingly very easy. Teachers are nice, and they teach nicely.

It is a good college with a good environment.
Placements: The placement is average and more for hons courses or B.Com not for B.Sc. prog. Overall it is a good experience here and satisfying. According to my knowledge, I guess 50-60% of students get internships but do not expect too much but teachers also help students to get internships.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. Teachers are good. The college has Wi-Fi and a library. Wi-Fi sometimes works but the ambience and environment are good. There are limited seats for students in the hostel so you probably have to take PG or a room on rent to stay if you're from outside Delhi NCR.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful and knowledgeable. The curriculum is also relevant, and the exams are moderate to hard. But if you study for it, you can attempt it easily. There are field trips also in the syllabus and teachers take us on them and it is good and fun.

Sri Venkateswara College review.
Placements: There are no placements for science courses since these are more research-based fields. They provide ample paid internship opportunities to students for all courses. For science students, there are many renowned institutions like AIIMS provide research opportunities to select students.
Infrastructure: Most theory classes are held in the new building. Classrooms are large and spacious. They are well-ventilated and ample light. There are separate labs for life sciences department although a lot of equipment is damaged. A hostel is available for students at a first come first serve basis. College also has NCC for boys.
Faculty: All my teachers are pretty hill. They are quite enthusiastic about teaching and make sure everyone follows along with what's happening in the class. As I said before, for science-related courses, we do not get job-ready after graduation but the college provides ample opportunities for pursuing higher education.
