
SMEAT Application 2026: The Application form for Srishti Manipal Institute of Art, Design, & Technology for B.Des and M.Des programmes for the year 2026 is expected to be out in the second week of December 2025. All the candidates willing to get admission in the institute will have to appear for the SMEAT Entrance Examination 2026.
SMEAT Application comes in rounds. SMEAT 2026 is expected to have three rounds of registration for UG and PG programmes. Registration for SMEAT Round 1 opens in the second week of December, and the last round of applications opens in April-May. The application fee for B.Des and M.Des will be around INR 2,000. The SMEAT 2026 registration is expected to close in the last week of May for B.Des and the first week of June 2026 for M.Des.
SMEAT Entrance Exams 2026 will be conducted in three rounds for B.Des and M.Des. Exams will be conducted between the third week of April 2026 and the first week of June 2026.
The application fee for SMEAT exam is INR 5,000. Also, for every additonal course, the candidate has to pay another INR 1,000. The fee has to be paid online. In case the application fee isn't paid, the application form will be considered incomplete.
The application form for SMEAT 2025 will open for Round I in January 2025.

Steps to Fill SMEAT 2026 Application Form
Registration: Dec ' 25 - Mar ' 26
Aspirants need to follow the steps to successfully register for the Srishti Entrance and Aptitude Test (SMEAT).
On the registration portal, click on the "Apply Online" link. In the registration form that opens, enter basic details like name, email address, mobile number, state, city, program level, program name, and course. etc.
Step 2: Verification
After submitting the registration form, candidates will receive a verification link in their email. Open your email ID and click on the link given.
Step 3: Fill in Details in SMEAT Registration Form
Click on the “Apply Now” tab next to the course for which a candidate wishes to apply. The application form will open, after which candidates need to fill in their personal, educational, and contact details. Some fields that aspirants need to fill in the application form are as follows:

Step 4: Pay the Application Fee
Next, candidates need to pay the application fee in online mode. The application fee for the exam is non-refundable. The SMEAT Registration fee 2026 is expected to be around INR 2,000.

Finally, after completing all the above-mentioned steps, candidates should submit the form online.
SMEAT Registration 2026: Important points
- Applicants can apply to any number of courses offered within the defined program in one application. When applying for more than one course, the applicant must choose courses in order of preference.

Applicants who apply for SMEAT 2025 in any one round are not to apply to any course under the same program (B.Des, BFA, B.Voc, M.A, M.Des, PGDP) in the subsequent Round. Applicants can apply to a course under a different program in subsequent Rounds.
- When applying for more than one course, the applicant must choose courses in order of preference.
- Applicants must take Test 1 and Test 2. Both tests are mandatory.
