Review of SRM Valliammai Engineering College.
Placements: In the college, they only offer compensation as a mini-package. They are the low-level companies but they said many big companies would come but they won't. In the last year, the highest package in my department was 4.25 lacs per annum but I don't know of any other department.
Infrastructure: They said Wi-Fi is available and Wi-Fi is also available and not used by students only in lab class; we have to use it at some point. It does not work. The classrooms are better. The lab has AC but it does not turn on. The foods in the hostel are not very satisfying.
Faculty: The teachers are more helpful for the students who are more interested in studying. But the curriculum is the same as old but it is a new course and conducts 2 CAT exams and a final exam. There is no more difficulty in passing an exam; you must have internal knowledge, and then it is easy.
Other: It is the best course in engineering. It has a future scope and it is now also growing. We have to enhance the curriculum and they are teaching outdated versions. Yes, all the scholarships are available.

Our college provides good placements.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed with decent salary packages. There is a separate placement cell in our college. They also prepare students for placements. The average salary package offered was 4 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure with several blocks. One separate block is only for first-year students. After finishing the first year, all students will be moved to another block called the new building which was constructed in the year 2010. It also has an administration block. A parking area is also available. The canteen is available. A sports complex is also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members are friendly. They always clear our doubts. It is an autonomous college so they will frame the question papers. It has a separate cell named the exam cell to conduct the examinations.
Other: We are the first batch in our college. Every year, they will conduct sports day, annual day, etc. This college should improve cultural events and fests.

I'm satisfied with the infrastructure of our college.
Placements: Placements provided in our college are good. It is one of the best colleges for engineering and for students' future.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Hostel facilities are highly appreciable. Students from different districts get hostel facilities. Labs are air-conditioned. Wi-Fi facilities are available. The quality of food served in the mess and canteen is good.
Faculty: Teachers in our college make the course curriculum and exams easy for students. Semester exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course because it is in the current trend. Our college gives an enjoyable college life.

Review of SRM Valliammai Engineering College, Chengalpattu.
Placements: As our course is new to college, students are still studying in their 1st, 2nd, and 3rd years. Overall, more than 90% of eligible candidates are placed in our college. The top recruiting companies are Accenture, CTS, TCS, and Wipro. The college gives good training for placements, which helps students to groom their skills.
Infrastructure: Our college has a well-developed infrastructure. We have well-equipped laboratories with 30 computers in each laboratory. We have a huge library, VEC Central Library, which has around 50,000 books. Hostel facilities are also available at this college.
Faculty: Teachers are mainly focused on their subjects. Some teachers will teach about current and future technologies. They help us to do some projects from the third semester itself. The curriculum is good as it is relevant to the new technologies.

Freedom given by the college was awesome.
Placements: Placements were awesome, the placements training provided by the placement cell was excellent. The placement percentage was about 90%. In the IT field, almost all students were being placed if they completed college without any error.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the hostel was awesome, and the food provided by the mess was average. The library was almost filled with all the books which is necessary for all the courses. The external books purchasing was not required as most the wi-fi was provided for all students for their laptop and notepads.
Faculty: Teaching level of the teachers was excellent and the method of teaching was excellent too. Every staff was experienced and has knowledge of the new technologies. The exams were conducted in the strict manner and the exams were being somewhat tough, so the student can face the questions. This challenge can develop students with the new technology for placements.
Other: I chose Artificial Intelligence & Data Science because AI is the growing course, and in the future, the world will rely on AI. That's why I chose it. Data Science is required in IT fields, so the course has been divided with both the highly required fields i.e., AI and Data Science. The training given by the course was awesome and the subject included the knowledge of new Technolgies.

Our college provides good faculty members.
Placements: Almost 90% of students got placed in IT fields with decent salary packages. Our college provides excellent training for placements. Internships are also offered in our course.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available 24X7 in the hostel with an excellent network speed. Laptops are also available. The food served in the hostel is average. Hostel rooms are average. Laboratory is well-maintained with the latest technologies. Computers are also better. It also provides a library, and several books are available.
Faculty: Our faculty members are excellent. They have 10 years of experience, and the teaching quality is good. They also clear our doubts. Our course curriculum makes students ready for the industry. Semester exams are moderate. If we study properly then we can score good marks.
Other: It is a newly introduced course. I chose this course because of my interest in it.

Overall, good faculty and infrastructure.
Placements: 100% of students were placed in AIDS course. Campus requirement is good, placement training, soft skill training during placement is notable. Top roles offered for AIDS Course are data scientist, machine learning engineer and software development engineer.
Infrastructure: AIDS classroom and library are quite good. The lab is excellent and well-designed, it is air conditioned and all the systems, Wi-Fi, keyboards, mouse are in working condition. I am not in hostel, but my friend told there is no good food and good facilities are not provided. Rules and regulation should be followed especially for Womens' hostel.
Faculty: Teaching is relevant to the course and is overall good. All teaching staff has different capabilities. Semester exam is not difficult if you are interested in that course. Our college will place the students in some top companies.
Other: This course is very advanced course and job opportunity is very high abroad. An advantage of selecting this course is reduction in human error, zero risk, perform repetitive job etc. Events, fest, extracurricular activities are somewhat bad.
