It provides all the things which are decent enough for learning and has the best teaching staff.
Placements: Around 50 to 60% of the students got placements from our college. Remaining students decided to go for higher studies. The highest salary package offered was 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered 2.5 LPA. The average salary package offered was nearly 3.5 LPA. L&T, Reliance fresh, etc., were the top recruiting companies of our college. Field engineer, marketing, products engineer, trainee, etc., were the roles offered by the companies.
Infrastructure: During our course duration, the air-conditioner was not working properly. After complaining many times, they repaired the old air-conditioner. In our department, they didn't have licensed software like Matlab, Hfss. Wi-Fi was only available in the reading room and library. LAN connection was provided in every lab. Equipment was old but was still working. Library was good as they had a good collection of books for study and rules were also good. The quality of the food served in the canteen was decent.
Faculty: All the teachers in our college were well educated and knowledgeable. But there are 2 to 3 teachers who were not good at delivering the lecture. Sometimes it wasn't very easy to understand some topics. But these teachers were well qualified for their jobs. Mumbai University designs the course curriculum, but it should be more practical and industry orientated.
Other: According to marks, I got this course, and it is the best college near to our house. I wanted to know more about electronics. Because of this course, I came to know what I have to do after BE. There should be more technical activities, not just seminars. They should organise extra-activities like robotics where we need to work as a team and complete some task and compete with our opponent.

It's a very good developing college for all kind of facilities.
Placements: It's a great placement college, and more than 200 companies come to our college. The placement cell is trying from the college side to get as many students to get placed from our college. At the end of the year, many students join the huge companies like Accenture, Tata, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very beautiful. The campus is spread across 300 acres. The infrastructure and campus are the best in our college. It's a huge campus including everything like sports, medical facilities, library, etc. I am happy that I am a part of this college.
Faculty: The lecturers play a very important role in our college by taking a special class, sharing their knowledge on how to improve our skills regarding exams. They help us on what all we should do to get better marks for the exam. They stay back with us for a long time after the college and help us.
Other: The fests, events, campus crowd and all are luxurious. It makes us feel proud to be in this college.

Q:   Is St Francis Institute of Technology Tier 1 or Tier 2?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

St. Francis Institute of Technology is an Tier 2 engineering college. This one boasts quality and infrastructure in education. However, it definitely does not come anywhere close to the IITs or the NITs, which are as good as it gets. SFIT is an excellent place to learn if one values quality education within the frame work of infrastructure and industry relationships. For students hailing from Mumbai, it is a good option. However, it usually does not offer the same national profiles or cut-offs as the best institutions, which classifies it in the Tier 2 category.
