It's one of the best colleges in Kolkata.
Placements: Above 80% are placed in my course. As far as I am concerned, the highest is above 30-40 LPA, and the lowest is 2-3 LPA. Banks, LIC and various companies like those in gold jewellery and others recruited. All of the students in the course got the percentage, 90%. I can say students get placed in banking and international marketing.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi speed is around 200-300 kbps, and as per the classroom, it is well maintained, and the electrical system is in good condition. The library is the best place to study as students can get a personal computer to study there, and people can bring their own electronics for studying. Various bookshelves are there with numerous books to study about the course, and also outside the course.
Faculty: If the students study well, the semester exams are not difficult. Failure percentage is 5-10%. The teachers are so well-educated and are qualified. The teachers are knowledgeable, and they teach with a lot of effort to make the students understand.
Other: Xavostav, a two-day concert once a year, celebrities are invited, and it is more likely to be a concert type.

Placements: The placement offered in St. Xavier's College is not that great compared to other top colleges in India that offer B.Com. However, the legacy of Xavier's is comparable, and the name of the institution is very valuable when applying for post-graduate programs.
Infrastructure: The college is located in a prime location, and the campus is very lively. It has multiple events happening from time to time. The library is very vast, offering a majority of books that cover almost every single genre. The campus overall is spectacular.
Faculty: The curriculum is designed to adopt the New Education Policy (New Education Policy) with case-based questions that test a student's practical knowledge more than their theoretical knowledge. The faculty is very welcoming and makes sure that the students feel at home.

What it means to be a Xavierian.
Placements: 5-10% of students who give interviews may get jobs in big companies. The average package is around 5-6 LPA and the highest can go up to 10-11 LPA while the least is around 2-3 LPA. Companies like Zomato, Swiggy, Tata, etc., come for interviews. Roles like accounting, finance, taxation, etc., are provided in our course. 15% of students can get internships in big companies like Deloitte, etc.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi in our college, and classrooms are very clean. There are facilities such as A.C., projectors, blackboards, whiteboards, etc. They provide canteen facilities, purified water, the best faculty members, and societies created for us. The timings are the best thing. They provide good-quality food in the mess. The hostel rooms are very good with A.C. facilities, and there are very strict rules regarding hostels. There are facilities for various sports and games, like cricket, football, basketball, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are very helpful to students. They provide the best knowledge to students. Sometimes, we are shocked after hearing some lectures delivered by teachers. They all are highly qualified, with qualifications like Ph.D., M.Com, CA, CS, etc. The course curriculum is very relevant to us. It prepares students well for exams. The semester exams are quite difficult. If one tries to clear them in one day, it may not be possible for everyone to pass, even after studying for a week.
Other: I have chosen this course because I am pursuing professional courses alongside it, and the timing is the best thing about this college. The time is from 6 am to 9:50 am, which is the best thing I love about the college. I think it should be more practical rather than theoretical. The college organizes a fest every year in January, where many celebrities come.

St. Xavier's College Kolkata is perfect for achieving our goals.
Placements: Our college has a specific placement cell that offers a variety of jobs in various fields with good packages and a good percentage of students get selected. One of the top companies in India hires students from our college. Even good internships are bagged by students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is quite good. We have many sports areas for recreational activities. Classrooms are spacious and very comfortable with proper furniture. We have college libraries. It provides us with computer labs. Hostels are also very standard.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent as professionals are hired from various fields. The courses taught are very knowledgeable and provide a wide variety of knowledge in various aspects of life. Exams are very standard and quite difficult which test the capability of students.
Other: The batch is good and students are competitive. There are various societies in our college that provide us with various events like debates public speaking, etc. We also organised an annual college fest known as Xavrand where famous artists performed, and inter-college competitions also took place.

I am totally satisfied with the college.
Placements: My course in St. Xavier's College Kolkata is B.Com Honours from morning batch. In this batch, students generally get placements after completing the degree. This college has become an autonomous body, so students who are willing to do B.Com Honours have to complete their course in 4 years. The average package for students ranges from 6-7 LPA.
Infrastructure: My college is around 100 years old. The infrastructure of the college is very strong. Classrooms are big enough and airy too. Rooms are spacious and other facilities like Wi-Fi and water facilities are also given here. Our college canteen has a variety of foods.
Faculty: All the teachers teaching here are qualified and specialised in their subjects. Their way of teaching is too good and innovative. As the classrooms have smart boards, so teachers teach all the students with PPT which makes studying easier. The behavior of all the teachers is also good.
