B.Sc. Hons Physics Kalindi College, University of Delhi.

Placements: There is minimal scope for getting placed in the college. The placement cell exists but offers limited job and internship opportunities. If students wish to get placed, they can opt for the centralized placement mela held at Delhi University.

Infrastructure: There is no hostel facility in the college. However, a hostel has been under construction since 2019 and has not been completed yet. Students stay at PGs near the college, which are readily available. Regarding labs and infrastructure, it is not that good. The campus is small, and the buildings are old and not well-maintained. The physics department labs are in good condition.

Faculty: The faculty in the Physics department is highly experienced and hardworking. Four of them are senior professors with extensive teaching and research experience. They also conduct research projects every year for students. The course itself is challenging due to its hectic academic schedule and labs, but exams can be easily managed with regular study and practice.

Faculty, library, great Infrastructure, Campus life, poor.

Placements: Placement is just negligible for Physics honors students. Marketing, Social Media handlers are some of the small roles offered to the Physics students as placement. Maximum students don't get any job just after undergrad in Physics honors. So overall I would say, no placement.

Infrastructure: The faculty is experienced and great. The library is also good with a large variety of books. Teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful and students just need to focus in the class. College is so good academic-wise. The library is rich in books.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable, qualified, and helpful and students just need to focus on the class only. Once you enter this course, you would not regret it and will end up learning new things whether you want to pursue a career further in the same course or not.

Kalindi College is the best.

Placements: In our course, most of the students did not get placed because they didn't fill the placement forms. Besides this, our college placement cell is very good. Placements companies come every year to our college.

Infrastructure: Our college hostel is not built yet, and it is under construction. Wi-Fi connection is available in labs and college campus, and it is very good. The library is wonderful. It comes after Miranda House in a library facility in the whole University of Delhi.

Faculty: Physics faculty members are the most wonderful and sincere. Teachers are well-qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. They not only guide you in the academic part but also in your personal life. Teachers are very understanding. The syllabus is absolutely relevant.

Other: I like to study physics, so I have chosen B.Sc physics Hons. The best thing about any course is the teacher with which you study, and if faculty members are the best, then there would be no problem with the course. Physics faculty members are very good in our college. Every year our college organises fests, events and extracurricular activities like competitions, sports, quiz and many others.

Kalindi College is good even though it's an off-campus college.

Placements: There is a placement cell in our college, which is very active. Still, from our batch, none of the students got placements because we graduated online. When we are in the first and second year, we found that many companies visit here for interviews. A full-day event was organised for placements. I have no idea about the posts and salary packages offered by companies. But not even a single company visited here for science graduates.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good, but it's old. Free Wi-Fi is also available for students. The network connection is good in every place except in some corners of the academic block. Our college library is better, and you will get every single book. Even if you do not get any books, you can write an application to the library to buy them. They will definitely buy those books. There is some problem in service of the canteen, but tenders will be changed if you complain against them.

Faculty: The teaching quality is awesome not only for our department but also in every department of our college. Teachers are brilliant, hardworking and dedicated to their work. They had a lot of experience in their subjects. The course of physics Hons is also good enough. Teachers also work on various research projects with students and guide them and encourage them to do more research.

Other: Fests organised here are average, and the crowd of our college is good. There are many scholarships in our college. Our college also encourages students to attend workshops and seminars by organising them frequently.

It is the best college if you want to excel in academics.

Placements: Placements were not offered in our course, but there were many opportunities for scholarships and internships for students. Teachers guided us timely to avail such opportunities and get the required stipends. However, they also guided us at a personal level for further career options.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very good. Everything is available for students easily, be it labs or library. Proper sports facilities are available here for sportspersons. However, the hostel building is still under construction. I think it gets completed soon so that the coming batches can get benefits of hostel facilities.

Faculty: Faculty members of our course are very good. They supported us in every field, be it academically or getting exposure to practical knowledge. They all are very well-educated and cooperative too. Labs were well-maintained with well-behaved lab staff members. Associate and assistant professors are well-deserved to be here.

Other: Fests were well-organised timely with proper safety guidelines. Fests were also enjoyable to a great extent.

Entire campus is stunning along with infrastructure and faculty.

Placements: Less placements for physics honours, but a no. Of placements are available for students of computer Science and B.Com course. The average placement is nearly 30 - 40 percent. Many reputed companies visit to our college campus every year to recruit the students.

Infrastructure: A huge campus is there, along with a large playground for sports activities. A particular room for indoor games is available. A well assembled library with the latest books for complementing our curriculum. Classrooms are quite spacious, well furnished with proper ventilation. Labs are quite good matching to our experimental requirements and a large auditorium for conducting various functions.

Faculty: Entire faculty is quite good and well educated, helpful imparting thorough knowledge to us. Teachers teaches us as per our curriculum and our uprising needs. They give us exposure to practical situations. They help us to build our knowledge by goi g through several books and experiments. Teacher - student-faculty ratio is always if comfort level.

Other: Three days fests is there every year naming lehrein. It gives opportunities to everyone to come out and show the talent. So many extracurricular activities are always there with in various societies like physcom society.

Best College for Academics.

Placements: Placements are quite good in comparison with other off campus colleges of Delhi University. During, my time the company came to our college with very less package, in an around 1.5lac -2lac, as after graduation you can expect this much only. The college also participate in Pool placement under DU. Big companies like Wipro, Infosys, TCS, ABP news etc. Provide placements with average 2.5 lac per annum. Also college, offer placement in teaching field also, during my time the school was offering 30-40,000 per month package. There is no internship programme offered, but at graduation level the placements offered are quite better and offer's placement which are secure and good to my knowledge.

Infrastructure: Initially, when I joined the college the campus was average. The year which I left the college, the college was turned into a paradise, with a botanical garden, a hygienic canteen with food items in affordable price (most of us used to have lunch from canteen only), the college have 2 floored library full of books, a different block for computer lab, free wi-fi in the campus with max speed of 3GB per sec, have huge sports room with GYM, medical room, a hall for leisure time, a music room, a shop or Xerox and print outs, huge labs for every department (for physics we had 4 labs )and huge ground. The campus is full of greenery and is spread in large area. One thing it lacks is auditorium, at my time it was old fashioned type, the construction was started for new auditorium (still have dream to visit it once). The college also opened Girls hostels. Overall facilities are excellent.

Faculty: Faculty in the college are well knowledgeable, in Physics department the facilities have M.Sc. or Ph.D. from IIT or DU or foreign university. The Professors are so enthusiastic and energetic, that college students get excel in their subjects, they encouraged us for research work which was financed by National academy of sciences and the metro project (generating energy with wind when metro moves, it is also going to implemented in Delhi metro), Many seminars, functions and programme 's are organized. The teachers use the practical method to explain things. And because of these teachers, I must say I will notice the difference when you joined the college and when you are out of the college. I will say this college is excellent in terms of Facility, they keep us busy with assignments and tests and are very cooperative and friendly with students. This is the best college in DU in terms of academics and the college have also won many prizes for best teacher awards in different subjects and many others.

Other: Regular events are conducted in college, every festival and occasion is conducted in college. Although, at my time the fest was not that much good, the fashion show is awesome in college One must watch it, if get a chance. But this year Bollywood celebrities visited the fest. Scholarships are also given to students according to there academic performance and BPL line. Also for security purpose, the college have police at the entrance and around the campus (that 's the best thing I like, no other college have it ). The college also has beautiful lake park nearby.

Good teaching faculty and best environment.

Placements: We are 30 students of this batch. Some got very good internships under respected professors and one of our classmates got an internship in IIT Indore. B.Sc. . Physics honour course of Kalindi college offers you not only theoretical knowledge but more focus is on practical and research. I have also done research projects. Seminars and conferences are also a major part of our course through which we get not knowledge but good exposure to research. During our visits, we get a chance to meet eminent scientists. Overall, it was a great experience.

Infrastructure: College Wi-Fi was the best part for us. Kalindi college has very good and large labs. The library is also good. The college has a good and large playground for Sports and a newly built hostel. Medical facilities are also available. The canteen has lots of variety of food on their menu. It is hygienic and tasty.

Faculty: Teacherss are highly qualified and dedicated. They share every bit of their knowledge to students. B.Sc. Physics honour teaches u language like C+ scilab etc. That helps alot in future. Semester exams are same level as other du colleges are not much difficult nor easy. Pass percentage is very good. Kalindi college is A grade by NAAC.
