It is a good college within Chennai city.

Placements: Placements were provided to all department students. Required coaching was given from the 1st year to final year students, like a mock interview, a special period for placement training, etc. Some BPO companies are coming for placements, and some MNCs were also visiting. Our college provides average placements.

Infrastructure: Our college has a neat infrastructure with well-planted trees, well-equipped classrooms, laboratories, playgrounds, separate seminar hall, AV room, canteen, and separate hostels for boys and girls, etc. Drinking water and restrooms were kept on every floor, but the maintenance was a little poor. Overall the infrastructure was above average.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college were friendly. Except for few all were good at the subject matter. Especially in the laboratories, the lab assistants were very good in their subject knowledge. Only a few faculty members were not up to the core. They were freshers, as they completed their degree and joined immediately. It is a good college in terms of faculty members. Anna University designed the course curriculum.

Other: I chose mechanical engineering. We had a good campus life and memorable moments. Other than studies, our college also focused on extracurricular activities. Some of the extracurricular activities that took place were cultural, sports day, green day, soil day, Independence Day, etc., and these were celebrated frequently.

Good college and should improve.

Placements: Placements in our college is low while comparing to other colleges. Mostly BPO companies are visiting our college campus and only few of the candidates got placed. The placement training cell is providing the required training to the students from 2nd year to final year. No internship opportunities are provided by the college but the faculty members will definitely help the candidates to complete the project successfully.

Infrastructure: The college has a decent infrastructure with well-equipped laboratory and playground. Comparing to the restroom and drinking water all are good. Medical facilities are also available in the college. The quality of the food is also good but the canteen size and products kept there are small while comparing to other colleges.

Faculty: The teachers working in this college are mostly good and friendly except some faculty members who are not up to the core. The lab assistants are also very good in the subject knowledge of each and every experiments. Also the curriculum followed by our college is anna university curriculum since it is affiliated to that. 3 exams are conducted before university exams it is very helpful to face the university exams. Also weekly assignments are provided which is very helpful for the students to carry on their respective subjects.

Other: I have studied mechanical engineering in this college. They have trained me a lot with practicals and a separate a. v room for displaying the latest videos about our course. Many events are conducted in our college such as internal and external symposium, culturals, soil day, annual day, green day, teachers day and independent day etc. Sports are not given importance in our college. No sports day are conducted.

All facilities are available here in a good manner.

Placements: The college provided wonderful placements. All core and IT industry visit the college for placements and offer a good salary package. Training is given for placements, and every week, regular classes are conducted for placements. Most of the capable students are placed in a good environment. Placement officer is very good.

Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure with neat and clean surrounding. The playground is huge and used for various sports activities. The campus is regularly cleaned. The infrastructure is provided with all basic facilities. All buildings are provided with all facilities.

Faculty: All faculty members in our college are good at teaching and provide good training. Lab activities are maintained in a good manner, and all the lab in charge are very much experienced and good-hearted. In case of any emergency, they will help as much they can with their heartfulness.

Other: Regular events are conducted in a good manner. Symposium will be conducted in every 6 months.

The only bad thing about the college is placements.

Placements: There is a placement office in our college, but they didn't invite any company to the college for placements. But they collect fees for placement training. This year, they inited two bank firms and BPO companies for all departments. This college will never provide you with a job.

Infrastructure: Lab facilities in our college are okay, and the classrooms are not bad. Canteens are not good, and it's not fully Wi-Fi enabled campus. The hostel is average. Food served is poor. The college is located in OMR, Chennai. Bus facilities are okay, but buses are not in good condition. The library and computer lab are available here but not in good condition.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are nice, and their teaching method is good. They are friendly. They provided full support and provided good knowledge. There are only a few faculty members because of lack of students admission. However, their teaching is good.

Other: They definitely conduct industrial visits, cultural events, symposium, etc.

Waste of money and time because there is no placement.

Placements: Placement cell is one the most least used room in our college. One decade back students were placed in very good companies through their source. The placement cell faculty members are completely useless in our college they don't have proper exposure towards the students nor the industries that they bring. They bring banking, BPO to our college which is completely different from what we studied.

Infrastructure: Simple but not worthy one compared to the fee they are charging. The washrooms and drinking water areas will be very poor and unhygienic. Our college is not a Wi-Fi enabled campus so please don't agree if they say it is Wi-Fi enabled. There is no proper coaching for the students who come under sports quota and not even a kit room we have, very poor regarding sports. Hostel food is the worst thing to ever taste in your life other than the hostel rooms will be very comfortable.

Faculty: We only 7 faculty members for 110 students. Each faculty will take 2 to 3 subjects per year. Few of them are really good at teaching but not all. You have to do everything in your interest. They will take us to industrial visit with irrespective to the subject we are learning. Curriculum was very helpful.

Other: No events no sports no college festival nothing. You cannot enjoy your college life in this college.

Except for placements, everything is good in this college.

Placements: Till 2017 there were a lot of campus interviews happened, after that the opportunities are decreased. At the time when I joined this college, they have mentioned that more than 50 companies are arranged, but when I completed my course, only more than 6 companies visited our college.

Infrastructure: Fortunately, there are many trees in our college, which is very good to hear and a lot of space to sit and eat. More spaces are also available for games and sports. I will rate 3.5 stars for the college infrastructure. The only disadvantage is walking the distance between college and bus stop is a bit longer. No Wi-Fi is available on the campus. Classrooms are good with 4-5 fans, blackboard, benches and windows. Canteen is available for both hostlers and day scholars.

Faculty: Many faculty members are available for different departments. Since I am from the mechanical department, I know only about mechanical staffs. Faculty members are very friendly and always available to clarify doubts based on studies. I will rate 5 out of 5 stars for the faculty members.

I am dissatisfied because of those mentioned problems.

Placements: There are no campus recruitments. Some companies like an insurance company and IT firms visited with minimal salaries. Staffs particularly some have good knowledge and some won't. Placement cell was not well-maintained. Most of the students in our batch were placed in companies through off-campus, and some were not.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was very bad compared to other colleges. Not even an auditorium was in a good manner. Classrooms are okay, but not up to the mark. The drinking water filter repairs often. Labs are not air-conditioned. They will only switch-on during university practicals for externals. Most of the computers don't work. Sports are not well-encouraged in this college.

Faculty: Some teachers are well-knowledgeable in their professional experience, and some of them are treating students like their enemies. Less number of staffs are appointed, but during Anna University inspection, temporary staffs are appointed for a single day wage. In our department, only 5 to 6 staffs are available, including HOD.

Other: The college was surrounded by a pleasant environment. Food served in the canteen was the worst. Transportation facility is available but often comes to a problem, and they don't even inform you that the bus is a breakdown and you have to wait for hours on the road without knowing it.

I am satisfied, but it needs to improve a bit.

Placements: There is no proper placement at all in the college. I am a mechanical engineer, and there is no core company placement, only BPO placement that too with the small number of vacancies. But they cost almost 20k for placement training, but they provide only 4 classes, that too only in my final year of college. But they charge 20k each year for placement training.

Infrastructure: To my knowledge, there is no Wi-Fi, labs are clean but not enough place. The classrooms are worst, the library is the only good place. The sports are worst, no proper trainer during my tenure, the trainer was friendly, but he trained only table tennis players, so he doesn't have other knowledge than table tennis, even he don't know the normal rules and regulations of cricket or football. The canteen food was worst, and even the hostel students made the strike several times for good food but no improvement. The hostel rooms are not good, they cost high and provide low quality. Other than library and playground, there is nothing good about infrastructure. If they afford a good proper trainer, then sports side had a chance to improve a bit.

Faculty: The staff are friendly and approachable. They encourage the students to ask their doubts and ready to clear it anytime, but some staff are direct last year passed out students and lack the knowledge related to the subject, but they get help from senior staff's and cleared my doubts and helped my studies. The industrial visit will happen once a year, and it's good. I got some knowledge and I am thankful for that.

Other: Actually, it's a good college, with a proper additional physical trainer and proper placement, and it can be better. It has a large space, by using them properly, the infrastructure can be improved. And, the management was mostly money minded, need to improve the hostel life and canteen food too, and there is no proper auditorium for whole students.
