MVJCE is regarded for its strong academic program and placements are also happening in our college

Placements: 100% of trainees in our course are placed. The highest package offered was 5 LPA by Atkins, a civil-related company. Some of our seniors undertook internships at BMRCL, while others secured internship opportunities there. The top roles offered are Junior Engineer or Assistant Engineer.

Infrastructure: Our classrooms are well-ventilated and hygienic. 24-hour water facility is available, and CCTV cameras are placed in each class, which are monitored daily by the IT help desk department. The food in the canteen is very hygienic, well-prepared, and tasty, offering both South Indian and North Indian cuisine. Medical facilities in our college include a separate room where a doctor is available every day. Sports offered in our college cover a wide range, with many teams competing at state and district levels and achieving victories. Additionally, every month, VTU tournaments take place in our college.

Faculty: One of the key strengths of MVJCE is faculty who are highly qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They not only impart knowledge. The difficulty of the semester exams is moderate; all the exam questions will be from the respective syllabus copy, and the pass percentage of the exam is 40%.

Other: Because this course offers many government jobs compared to other departments in engineering. Improving placements in our course. Every week events from different clubs are going to happen in our college, and even scholarships are provided for students who get more marks in their semester examination.

Review of M.V.J. College of Engineering.

Placements: 80% of students were placed, I guess. The average package was 5 LPA in our college. 100% of students got internships in our course, and some of them are working in government institutions like R&B and NHAI. The top roles offered are site engineer, junior engineer, and assistant engineer.

Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure available in our institution are great, and apart from that, they are providing a lot of facilities in the institution like labs, they are good. The quality and facilities in the hostel are pretty good; you have a lot of options on the menu. Our college offers a lot of fun games every year; even we have fests here where you can get a lot of opportunities for games and project making.

Faculty: Yes, our teachers are good; they have good experience in their area of teaching and are highly qualified. Yes, the curriculum is relevant. And also, students are getting ready for the future of the Indian construction development industry. The college exams are not that tough; you can easily get good grades if you are good in studies. The passing percentage for the course is 40%.

Other: I chose this course to become a civil engineer because I like this course. That we, the people, make the life of people easy to some extent. There should be more practical knowledge in our course. The campus events and activities are good; you will find a lot of options in extracurricular activities in the institution.

I recommend not to join the civil branch.

Placements: In our college, almost 20% of students were placed in the civil branch. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered was 3 LPA. There were no top recruiting companies and no roles offered.

Infrastructure: For the civil branch, facilities and infrastructure were a little bit good, but the lab condition was not good compared to other departments. Classrooms were excellent and comfortable.

Faculty: Our faculty members were very talented and experienced, and they were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching level was excellent, and semester exams were a little difficult. Some lecturers were very strict in evaluating.

Good placement opportunities and faculty are very much talented.

Placements: The highest package offered is 6lpa and the lowest is 3lpa. All the top recruiting companies come to our college. 70% students got internship.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good. The campus is spacious and departments are very nice and huge. Wi-Fi facility is there but it sometimes does not work. Labs for civil students are not much good. The library is beautiful.

Faculty: The teachers and faculty members are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is good and the course is curriculum relevant. It makes the students industry ready. Difficult are the semester exams in this college. The pass percentage is 35%.

I have an average experience. Management of our college is the worst.

Placements: None of the students got placement in the civil engineering department. Most of the students from the computer science department got placed. But due to covid 19, placements were less this year. The salary package offered was also not that good. Hopefully, they would recover from that.

Infrastructure: Labs are good, well-equipped and modern. The hostel is good and clean. Food is south Indian, and only vegetarian is allowed to eat on the campus. Non-vegetarian is strictly prohibited, and if caught eating, then you would be punished accordingly. I suggest not to join college hostel if you like non-vegetarian. MVJ is not that supportive of sports, but still, you can manage. However, you need to struggle for getting permissions and all.

Faculty: Faculty members are good and intelligent. They help you whenever you want, but management is not that student-friendly. I learned a lot from MVJ, and college life experience was great. There is still a lot of space for improvement in our college, but I think they would improve.

Other: If you what quality education and less college life excitement, then our college is good. However, I suggest not to opt for civil engineering course here. CS is better because all the companies coming for placements are for CS.
