The General Knowledge and IQ Test will evaluate the candidate on parameters like aptitude regarding current affairs and General Knowledge. The number of questions may vary in this section and for each course. Aspirants need to be well-versed in topics related to major happenings in India and the world in the given year. 

The test is structured to evaluate your skills in Concept Development, Design Thinking, and Material Manipulation. During each session, candidates receive a question paper and a material kit, along with instructions on how to approach the Situation Test.

Participants must visually interpret and construct a 3D composition strictly following the specified dimensions, using only the materials provided in the kit. The test follows a choice-based question format. Additionally, candidates must support their creation with a caption and a written explanation (in English only) detailing the Design Process they followed.

Candidates will be tested for the following in the Situation Test:

• Creative Thought process, Critical & Lateral thinking;
•  Imagination, Ideation & Innovation;
•  Material & Situation handling ability;
•  Conceptual thinking / Concept generation;
•  Observation Skills;
• Logical Reasoning / Interpretation;
• Time Management;
• Understanding of Form – 2D to 3D;
• Working within Material constraints &
• Precision & cleanliness. 

In the Portfolio Evaluation (PE), emphasize the uniqueness and individuality of your work by presenting it in an engaging manner. Your portfolio should reflect your ability to draw inspiration from your surroundings, showcase your understanding of aesthetics and sensibilities, and demonstrate awareness of current trends. The portfolio may consist of your unrefined, developmental work, a wide range of ideas and media, experimentation, and showing your creative journey – sketchbooks.

Portfolio Evaluation assesses the following skill sets and aptitude:

This test is administered to judge the analytical skills of candidates.
