Yes, it is worth pursuing BTech at UPES Delhi as the university is recognised as the Scientific and Research Organisation by DISR, the Ministry of Science Technology,  and the Government of India.  UPES Dehradun offers over 72 courses at the UG, PG and PhD levels through nine schools and UPES Centre for Continuing Education (CCE). The courses are offered in multiple streams like Engineering, Management, Science, Business, etc. The university conducts its own entrance exams like UPESMET, UPESMET UG, UPESPAT, etc. for providing admission to specific courses.
