Review of DIT University.
Placements: I will be completing my B.Tech degree in the year 2025; my degree is in Mechanical Engineering. In my course, the placements are 100%. Every student gets placed with a good package and job role. Companies like Google, Oracle, Bosch, and Honda are some of the top recruiters.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is top-notch, one would say, as the furniture and lighting are all modular. All the classrooms are renovated. All the laboratories are equipped with AC. All high-tech and updated equipment are provided for the students to practice on and learn.
Faculty: The teachers at DIT University are all professionals in their fields with years of experience. They are all well reputed and respected in their field. Due to their experience, they are very well versed with the course material for every subject, and even they design the curriculum themselves, so they are relevant to what is industrial application-based.
Other: The campus life at DIT University is the best there is. The location where the college is located adds so much to the views and feel of the college. The college organizes the annual cultural fest where celebrities are invited and sports fests where various colleges compete. The college is well connected with all basic amenities nearby.

I would be fully satisfied if placement assistance is provided.
Placements: About 20% of the students are placed in mechanical engineering. The average salary package offered varies from 3 LPA - 4 LPA. Core engineering companies were very less when we talk about mechanical engineering. Placement records of courses like CSE and IT are very good, even when compared to other colleges.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college and hostel is fantastic and the scenic view it offers is amazing. Facilities given by the administration are average. Library is very modern and is loaded with all the books that would be required by the course. The cafeteria is awesome.
Faculty: Not all, but almost, the faculty is helpful. Teaching quality and methods are good. Some faculty members are very knowledgeable and qualified. The course curriculum is almost relevant. Industrial tour is also very good. Practicals and labs are very good. The examination is not that tough as compared to other colleges.

Satisfied because of good faculty members, quite good placements, good infrastructure.
Placements: The placement is good. About 70-80% were placed in my course. The highest package in my course is 24,00,000 annually and the lowest package is 3,50,000 annually. The average package is 450000 annually. The top roles are from computer Science, sales, or other engineering background. The top companies which had come for placement in my college are Byjus, Wipro, Amazon, Hitachi.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is really good. The surrounding place under campus is so large. Library facility is good and Medical facility is also provide. The hostel infrastructure is also really good and food is really tasty. Sports facility is also good here. Fest, events, activities also organised in this college. Popular celebrities come in the fest every year for 2-3 days. Overall the infrastructure, functions, facilities are so good.
Faculty: The facilities are well qualified and knowledge here. They are so helpful. Their teaching quality is so good. Yes this course curriculum is relevant. In exams you get good marks if you do study enough. They make the students industry ready and prepare us for the interview too.

DIT is the best university if you want to pursue higher education in Dehradun.
Placements: Nearly 40% of students get placed every year. The average package offered for mechanical engineering students varies from 3 to 5 LPA. Companies like Tata Steel, L&T, Mahindra, etc., came here (for mechanical only). On average, 40% of students got internships from various companies.
Infrastructure: DIT University provides one of the best campus infrastructures in Dehradun. The university has Wi-Fi in every block. Classrooms and labs are equipped with projectors for a better education facility. The university has a separate block for canteen, where one can get their favorite food.
Faculty: Teaching at DIT University is one of the greatest jobs. Teachers help students to understand concepts and help them improve their knowledge. Teachers are mostly IIT graduates and are highly knowledgeable. Teaching is one of the best things at the university. The course curriculum offered is quite relevant. It makes the students industry-ready.
Other: I chose it because of my interest in the mechanical department. It helps me clear all my doubts and fills me up with new concepts. A bit of practical knowledge should be provided. Events and fests are well organised.

It is the best college in Uttarakhand with a very good atmosphere for the students.
Placements: Computer science engineering is best in DIT College with above-average placement percentage. The average salary package offered is 3 to 5 LPA. Companies like Ashok Leyland, Wipro, Infosys and Unomind visited our college in the year 2018. Students must score above 60% in their academics at the end of 3 years without backlogs in subjects.
Infrastructure: Hostel of DIT College is good with the best infrastructure. The canteen is very clean and provides healthy and fresh food. Labs and library are also available here with the best generation of computers. Playing area is not good in DIT with two basketball courts and 2 volleyball courts.
Faculty: Teachers here are very helpful, knowledgeable and also help in placements of students. At the end of the 3rd year, students have much knowledge that they can sit in the placement and qualify their interview with a good salary package. There is no focus on practical as much it required.
Other: The one thing about DIT College is its location. Fest is conducted once in a year. The thing which has to be changed is that our college focuses on other companies other than CS and IT field.

DIT is good, location is the best!
Placements: Placements are good for this college. The only drawback is they do not have much companies for Mechanical apart from Ashok Leyland & Secure meters. For Computer branches the placements are quite good with the highest being 26 LPA from Amazon & the lowest being 3.2 LPA from Capgemini but almost 90% students got placed in computer Science rather than mechanical where only 40% students got placed.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average, neither too good nor too bad. Initially in third year we were in triple occupancy but then later on I was shifted to double occupancy. The food is also decent. Doctors are available 24*7 and there is enough space for students to play outdoor games in the leisure time.
Faculty: Teachers are good, most of them are IIT aluminis. They have an in-depth knowledge of what they are teaching & that really helps us to broaden our horizon. The curriculum is somewhat relevant, they have introduced electives where in we can choose our department electives depending upon our interest & future studies.
Other: I am fond of mechanical and therefore I opted for this course. The best thing about this college is its location. Dehradun is a beautiful place & it feels lovely to be there in the middle of clouds and mountains. Apart from scholastic progress our university also focuses on non-scholastic areas, where they organize technical fests, cultural events, gaming clubs etc. To strengthen our key areas.

There were good placements for the 2015-2019 branch.
Placements: Placements for CS and IT departments were phenomenal this year. Training and placement department worked very hard and successfully helped almost everyone to get placed. However, if you are in core branches, you got to maintain at least 7 CGPA to get placed in core companies. Else there are companies with no CGPA criteria you can get a job there as well.
Infrastructure: There are huge labs with proper equipment for each branch, and learning in these labs is good. The college is equipped with basic things like the library, medical room, playground. The food served in the hostel is poor, but that's manageable because there are decent cafes nearby. Don't forget to visit a cafe named Sharma Ji.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are rude and terrible, especially in the mechanical branch. However, they are well qualified and knowledgeable except one or two who just learn stuff from YouTube and teach us in class. You are on your own in this college. For any work, they will make you run from here and there for as small work as getting signature.
Other: The college organises a technical fest and a cultural fest. Scholarships are provided to toppers. College is situated in the mountains. Weather is the thing here which you will like throughout your course.

DIT is the best colleges in Dehradun. The college has the best surroundings.
Placements: This year, placements record has improved by a considerable margin. By the end of the seven semesters, five seniors students got placed in Nestle, and the salary package offered by Nestle has been the best so far. It is believed that the placements are going to improve in the coming years.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is excellent. There is accessibility from various parts of the city. The college has a well-designed administrative block. There are various other room like boys common room, waiting room, cooperative store, etc. There are well-equipped and furnished labs separately available for basic sciences, and other departmental laboratories are as per norms. Classrooms are well-furnished and ventilated. Hostel rooms are good and provide facilities like Wi-Fi, laundry, gyms, etc., and these are available for 24 hours.
Faculty: Students are encouraged actively to participate in various club activities including placement, hostel management, discipline and anti-ragging to impart leadership qualities. All-pervading nature of computers and different mobile devices have resulted in huge demands for IT education. Department is helping students to enhance their IT skills in research and development through a balance in theory and practice. The department emphasizes on domain-specific applications such as- networks, information security, etc., to facilitate the students in acquiring a higher degree of knowledge, global competency and excellence for the betterment of the society.
