Good placements but not academic

Placements: Talking about placement it is a good as we had 62 LPA as our highest. last time with near 75-80 percent student from our course getting placed. Top companies like Texas, Google visit at this college and nearly 20% student were there for internship in companies like Texas, Morgan, Stanley. Top roles like software developer, Field application engineer are offered.

Infrastructure: Facilities like mess are there. The building is nearly 100 years old but there is a newly constructed hostel with good facilities like lift cleaned washroom bed cupboard. The fess is also affordable but the infrastructure is too old and worst with lot of issues.

Faculty: Faculty is not felt to be qualified for teaching. They are not at all serious regarding curriculum. The teachers give YouTube playlist for studying. They not at all take efforts to teach. The exams paper are also not corrected properly. There are many unfair means in checking.

Vjti is still a dream for 99% CET givers and its true!

Placements: The placements are almost 100% for CS extc, it, and etrx branches. Most high paying jobs are offered by banking companies like wells fargo, jp morgan chase, citi bank. While companies like SAP, oracle financial software, siemens, capgemini, tata digital, you name it, big brands will be present in vjti for placements. The average CTC being 10-11 LPA.

Infrastructure: The buildings are old and need redevelopment which is in progress. The classrooms are partially air conditioned and some are yet to be. Most classrooms have projectors, the new library is fabulous. The computer labs and iot labs are also state of the art. But electronics lab still work in the 1990s, no new technology or endowment, I suppose.

Faculty: Its a government college, of-course the faculty is not expected to be really good like in some of the private colleges. But the average rating of faculty is good in vjti, no doubt. The curriculum needs to be renewed, but I can see some changes in syllabus as well this year.

Other: The fests are great, excellent and innovative crowd, awesome campus life, a lot to learn in less time.

Amazing 4 years at the college. Overall satisfied.

Placements: The placements were good. The lowest package offered was 3.5 lakhs and highest was 30 lakhs. Accenture, Airtel, Rakuten, Morgan Stanley, Amazon, Samsung, Credit Suisse, DirectI, Texas Instruments, Jio, Idea, Cisco were a few to be named. There were 100% placements with the average salary of 6.5-7 lakhs.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided at the campus were pretty good. Overall, labs classrooms and gymkhana were well equipped with amenities and conditions were conducive to work, study and play. The canteen was a bit shabby but the food was cheap and a lot of variety was available. Hostel rooms had a bit of ventilation issue but then overall, I never faced any infrastructure issues.

Faculty: Most of the faculty members were well versed in the subjects they were teaching. We had an incubation lab setup that provided a very good exposure in terms of overview from a global perspective. The classes were interactive and the course of the exams was effectively laid out giving students the freedom to spend time on their extra curriculars and interests.
