Overview

TDV Entrance Exam Pattern 2026: The Design Village Admission will conduct the TDV entrance exam 2026 for admission to the UG program offered by the institute. As per the official exam pattern of TDV 2026, the exam will be of two-hour duration.

TDV 2026 question paper will consist of two parts. Candidate has to appear in both parts. If the candidate doesn't complete one part, he or she will not be considered for admission. TDV exam 2026 will be conducted in two Parts. Part 1 is an Aptitude Test and Part 2 is an Interview. Both parts will be conducted online. The question paper of TDV 2026 will include both multiple-choice questions and descriptive questions.

In TDV Entrance Exam, candidates need to attempt the following types of questions:

Correlative quiz Questions in this section evaluate candidates based on the awareness level of aspirants. In this section, aspirants are tested to know if they understand correlations between people/ places/ objects/ events, etc., as well as to figure out if they have the presence of mind to read questions correctly and not get confused in trick questions.
Comprehensive Question In these questions, candidates are evaluated on ideation and visual representation. To imagine a scenario in a holistic manner and in parts (courage to think outside the box/compassion). To visualise the representation and draw clearly/proportionately (aptitude/skill). To observe from memory/add details to the imagined environment, and make it enriched and vivid (awareness/perseverance)
Question for taking positions/justifying them

This section tests candidates on:

  • The ability to develop an opinion or a perspective on an issue with justification
  • To evaluate values and priorities among the age groups
  • To represent innovatively, the ideation, although the focus is on the design thinking
Creating thumbnails

This allows the student to express the core concept or the basic concept of what he/she is trying to express, and is very useful in visual communication. The exercise is designed to address multiple meanings:

1. To evaluate lateral thinking based on the interpretation of the most obvious to the least obvious.
