Aspirants can apply for Amrita BTech admission 2026 via AEEE scores and also via JEE Main scores. Aspirants can also opt to apply with scores from both exams. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores, and the rest of the 30% seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks.

The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 is out. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. What is Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP)?
Amrita University launches the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP). This portal is dedicated to candidates applying for admission to BTech courses. This is a common portal for AEEE registration, fee payment, slot booking, admit card download, result announcement and also counselling. On successful registration of AEEE, candidates get login details using which they can access the AOAP for any above-mentioned activities.

Candidates must have passed class 12 with 60 percent aggregate in PCM to be eligible for AEEE 2026. Individually, candidates must get atleast 50% score in Physics, Chemistry and Maths. Candidates should be born on or after July 1, 2005.

Important instructions regarding the application fee payment:
- The application fee can be paid online either by credit/debit card or net banking. In case the examination fee is paid through a credit card/debit card, the candidates may have to pay additional processing charges to the concerned bank.
- Please note that fees submitted through any other mode, like money order, demand draft, IPO, etc., are not accepted for online applications.
- Application fees once paid will not be refunded (full or partial) under any circumstances.
- Candidates can post their payment queries in the Query Management System in the Amrita Online Application Portal (AOAP) to get a faster response.
Academic Profile, documents upload, and JEE Mains scores may be entered after the publication of the results. It is not mandatory to fill the same at the time of filling out the application. However, the candidates are advised to retain the hard copy of the application, i.e., the acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence, if any. The AEEE 2026 application form will be considered as complete only after the requisite application cost is made by the means specified.
A candidate appearing for AEEE 2026 can submit three preferences of exam cities from the available list of cities. AEEE 2026 will be conducted in a centre in the cities given on the list, provided there are enough candidates. The preferences submitted by the candidate are only indicative and a guide to the University for deciding the number of centres in each city. A candidate will be allotted one out of the three preferred cities, preferably the first preferred city. If the exam cannot be conducted at the first preferred city of a candidate, for any reason whatsoever, they will be allotted to the second/third preference as applicable.
The university will put all efforts into conducting AEEE 2026 in all the cities listed in the appendix. If any city in the list is cancelled due to very less registrations or for any other reason, the candidates who have opted for that city will be allotted to another city the nearest to their preference, and the same will be informed to the candidates by the registered email address.
AEEE 2026 Application Form Correction
Candidates must note that no separate form correction window opens for AEEE. Therefore, candidates must make any changes to the form before the final submission. However, candidates may correct/modify some of the particulars of the application data before the commencement of Seat Allotment. The name of the candidate and their parents’ names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 10th Certificate. Prefix/titles such as Mr./Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs./Smt./Col etc., must not be used.

Yes. A candidate can apply for all phases of the AEEE 2026 exam. The admission will be granted based on the best score out of all phases held. Candidate can also apply with JEE Main 2026 score and/or AEEE score for Amrita BTech admission.
Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.
Since the slots are not available, this means all slots have been booked. In this case, the next best option is to apply for next phase of AEEE exam, if available. AEEE slot booking is done in first come first serve basis. Therefore you must book the slots as soon as the slot booking window opens. Since other candidates are also simultaneously using the same slot booking portal, sometimes the status presented may change by the time the candidate finishes making his or her selection, and the slot chosen by the candidate may not be available. In such cases, the candidate will be prompted to choose another date and slot. Hence, if your slot is not available, you will have to simply select another one, or you might get allocated a different one.

Yes. A new section of 'Quantitative Aptitude' has been added to the AEEE syllabus. However, the syllabus for this section has not been mentioned by Amrita.
