Q: What is the AEEE counselling schedule?

Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham will start the AEEE 2026 counselling registration process for Amrita BTech admission 2026 in May 2026. The dates for CSAP 2026 counselling, which will include the schedule for CSAP trial allotment, CSAP round 1, CSAP round 2, Mop-up round and the class commencement dates, will be available soon. AEEE counselling is conducted by Amrita University, and it is called the Centralised Seat Allotment Process (CSAP). Candidates are required to submit their academic preferences by paying the allotted amount to participate in AEEE Counselling. All JEE Main candidates and AEEE qualified candidates desirous of joining Amrita will have to register for CSAP. AEEE CSAP seat allotment results will be announced after each round of the counselling process. Candidates can download their AEEE counselling seat allotment call letters from the official website in online mode.

Q: Where to check the AEEE results?

Candidates will be able to view their AEEE 2026 results in the admission portal at aeee.amrita.edu. Candidates have to login to their portal and check their AEEE scores and ranks as per the result date mentioned on the official website.

Q: When will the result of AEEE will be out?

AEEE 2026 result for phase 1 will be out in February 2026, tenatively. AEEE 2026 phase 1 and phase 2 results will be declared separately on the official website. The AEEE 2026 phase 2 result will be released in May 2026, tentatively. Candidates who appear for more than one phase must note that their best score out of all the phases is considered for admission.

Q: Can I select my preferred exam date and time for AEEE exam?

Yes, you can. Candidates registered for AEEE 2025 shall select “DATE AND TIME” of their choice, SUBJECT TO AVAILABILITY, by visiting the admission portal on or before the last date. This process is called “SLOT BOOKING.” Test Centre, Number of days and Number of operating slots in a day will be finalised based on the number of candidates for a particular city. The allotment of date / slot will be on first come first serve basis. If a candidate does not exercise their option, they shall be assigned a date/ slot as per the availability of the same. To book the AEEE Exam Date and Slot, registered candidates need to click the slot booking link provided in the portal after registration ends and as per the schedule mentioned on the official website.

Q: When will the AEEE slot booking process start?

The AEEE 2026 slot booking process for phase 2 will start after the AEEE phase 2 registrations are over. The slot booking process opens for a limited period, and the candidates must book the slots as soon as possible as the slots are made available on a first-come first first-served basis. All applicants will receive intimation through SMS / Email to their registered mobile number/email ID for the AEEE slot booking. After candidates have reserved their test date and time, the AEEE admit card with detailed instructions will be made available for download.

AEEE 2026 admit card release date for phase 2 exams will be announced in due course. To download the AEEE admit card, candidates have to use their registered Email ID/phone number. AEEE 2026 exam dates will be announced in October 2025, tentatively. The candidates can check the complete schedule of AEEE 2026 on the official website - amrita.edu. The AEEE exam will be held twice - in February and then again in May. Candidates can appear for both phases or any one. The candidates who will appear for both hases thei admisison will be done based on the best score out both the phase.

Q: When will AEEE phase 2 exams be held?

The AEEE 2026 phase 2 exam will be held in May 2026. There will be three slots on each day - 8.30 AM -11.00 AM, 12.00 Noon - 02.30 PM, and 03.30 PM – 06.00 PM, tentatively. The exam will be held in computer-based test mode across various centres across the nation.

Q: When will the AEEE application form release?

The AEEE 2026 application form for phase 1 and phase 2 will be out in October 2025. Candidates are allowed to submit only one application form, and more than one application, i.e. multiple applications from a candidate, may get rejected. Candidates' names and their parents' names in the application form must exactly be the same as registered in the Class 12th/ equivalent qualifying Examination. Prefix/title such as Mr/Shri/Fr/Dr/Mrs/Smt/Col etc. should not be used. The candidates are advised not to send the hard copy of the online application to the university. However, the candidates are advised to retain a hard copy of the application, i.e. acknowledgement page, for future reference or correspondence.

Q: How can I take admission in Amrita other than through AEEE?

Admission to BTech Programmes offered at Amrita School of Engineering is through and based on the rank scored in JEE Main and AEEE. 70% of the seats are allotted via AEEE scores and the rest of the 30% of seats are filled based on JEE Main ranks. A candidate can choose to apply either through AEEE or JEE Mains individually or even select both.

AEEE 2026 Dates: Amrita Vishwavidyapeetham will announce the complete schedule of the AEEE 2026 exam at amrita.edu. The AEEE 2026 exam date and the AEEE 2026 application form are expected to be available in October 2025.

Amrita will hold the AEEE 2026 CBT exam twice - phase 1 in February 2026 and phase 2 in May 2026. The AEEE 2026 registration for both phases of the exam will begin in October 2025. The AEEE 2026 schedule will have the AEEE exam date for both phases, along with the deadline to apply for each phase. Apart from that, Amrita will also notify the AEEE 2026 slot booking and admit card download date. A few days after the exam, the AEEE 2026 result date will also be notified.

AEEE 2026 Exam Dates

Amrita University conducts the AEEE exam for admission to BTech courses. The exam date is announced online, and candidates need to book their exam slots as per their availability to appear for the computer-based test. The 10+2 passed/appearing candidates in 2026 and those who passed in 2025 can apply for Amrita Entrance Examination – Engineering (AEEE) 2026.

AEEE CBT has one paper of 300 marks. 100 MCQs are asked in the exam from Physics, Chemistry, Maths and English. Each question carries 3 marks, and 1 mark is deducted against each wrong answer. The questions are based on the syllabus in Class 11th & Class 12th. All the questions are of a Multiple-Choice type and have four options as possible answers.
