The AP Higher Education Department will publish AP PGECET counselling 2026 seat allotment result of Phase I today. The official website to check is cap.apcfss.in. As per the official notification, the Phase I seat allotment will be declared after 6:00 pm. The Andhra Pradesh PGECET counselling is held for 16,098 seats for MTech admission across 310 engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh.

How to check AP PGECET 2026 Phase I Seat Allotment Result
Candidates can check their seat allotment result by following the steps mentioned below:

Go to official website and click on candidate login

Enter username and password along with captcha code

After logging in, the allocated college and course will be displayed on screen

If you are satisfied with the allocation, then confirm and download the allotment letter
The AP PGECET seat allotment letter will also be sent to the candidate’s registered mobile number. The AP PGECET seat allotment via GATE/GPAT scores was declared on September 5, 2026.

Candidates need to keep the following documents ready for counselling registration at the CAP portal. All the mentioned documents must be in original and in three sets of xerox copies.

Candidates who are children of parents who are in the employment of this State or Central Government, Public Sector Corporation, Local Bodies, Universities and other similar quasi Public Institution within the State at the time of applying for APEAPCET2026 examination.

The Muslim and Christian Minority Candidates should bring Transfer Certificate (TC) of the SSC containing the Religion (Muslim/Christian/Other linguistic) or in the absence of TC, a Certificate issued by the Head of the Institution in which the student studied/appeared for SSC or its equivalent Examination. |

What after AP PGECET 2026 Seat Allocation
After the allocation of seat via AP PGECET 2026, candidates have to self-report through the self-reporting system. Shortlisted candidates will also have to physically report to the college with allotment letter and self-joining report. Both stages of reporting are mandatory. The AP PGECET 2026 seat allotment will be done based on the options exercised, considering the candidate’s merit rank and category. Candidates are advised to keep all their documents (certificates and marksheets) for verification purposes.
