VITEEE cutoff consists of the minimum marks that the candidates need to have a higher chance for admissions into the B.Tech courses offered by the participating institutes. The cutoff is prepared by the authorities after the results are declared and the performance of the candidates are assessed. Marks 113 - 117 (Rank 251 to 500), 90 - 113 (Rank 501 to 2,500), 81 - 90 (Rank 2,501 to 5,000), 72 - 81 (Rank 5,001 to 6,500), 60 - 72 (Rank 6,501 to 8,500), 43 - 60 (Rank 8,501 to 11,000), 31 - 43 (Rank 14,001 to 20,000) and Less than 31 marks (Rank 20,001 to Last Rank).

VITEEE cutoff will be different for every course, campus and category. Candidates who have secured a rank upto 1 Lacs will be eligible for B.Tech admissions into VIT Vellore and Chennai. The counselling dates for different ranks varies as per the authorities. For those candidates with a rank above 1 Lacs, admissions will be open only for VIT Bhopal and VIT Andhra Pradesh. They will not be eligible for VIT Vellore and Chennai admissions.

All qualified candidates will have to participate in the counselling process for admission into the preferred courses and campuses. During the VIT 2024 counselling process, the candidates will have to register and complete the choice filling process. The authorities will announce the VITEEE 2024 seat allotment result online and the candidates will have to log in using the required credentials to check their allotment result.

Candidates will have to submit their choice of courses and campuses in the order of preference. This is important as it will be considered for allotment.
