No, the unattempted questions in the VITEEE paper will not be marked negatively. These questions will not be considered when the papers are being scored. Students are encouraged to attempt all questions in the exam since wrong answers are not negatively marked.

Q:   Which preparation materials are essential for VITEEE exam?
A: 

To prepare for VITEEE, the students should have good reference books. Through the books, they will be able to deepen their conceptual knowledge so that they can solve the questions well. Along with books, mock tests and sample papers are also another important preparation material for the exam.

Q:   What kind of questions will be present in the VITEEE question paper?

Q:   Is VITEEE held a computer-based test?
A: 

Yes, VITEEE is a computer-based test, which is conducted at various exam cities. Each question will have four options, out of which the student will have to choose the correct one. After selecting the correct option, it has to be submitted.

Q:   Are the wrong answers negatively marked in VITEEE?
A: 

No, the wrong answers are not negatively marked in VITEEE. No marks will be deducted for incorrect answers in the entrance exam. Since there is no negative marking, the candidates are advised to attempt all questions so that they have higher chances of scoring high in the exam. As per the official pattern, one mark will be given for every correct answer in VITEEE.

Q:   What is the time given to complete the VIT exam?
A: 

The students will be given 2 hours 30 minutes to complete the VIT exam. No extra time will be available to the candidates to complete the question paper. All of the questions have to solved and completed within the given time limit.

The official VITEEE syllabus will be released online. According to the official syllabus, the students will have to study topics from Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English and Aptitude. It is important to check the syllabus to be well prepared for the exam.

The aptitude section in VITEEE is present to test the student's aptitude and to check if they are ready for admission. No, the students will not be guaranteed admissions if they meet the VITEEE cutoff. However, they will have higher chances of admission if the cutoff is met. Since other factors will also be considered for admission, the students can check the cutoff for their admission chances.

Yes, only the VITEEE scores will be used to prepare the cutoff. Since no other entrance exam score will be accepted for admission, the authorities will prepare the cutoff using the VITEEE scores. While preparing the cutoff, the scores are an integral factor.

Yes, the VIT tuition fee is different for Group A & B courses. The fee will be as per the programme that the students choose to study in the institutes. For Group A programmes, the total annual fee is INR 1,76,000, and for Group B, it is INR 1,98,000.

The VITEEE counselling fee is INR 5,900 (inclusive of GST). During the counselling registration, the students will have to pay the counselling fee online, i.e., through net banking/credit card/debit card/UPI. If the fee is not paid, then the students cannot participate in the counselling process.
