Karnataka Examination Authority commenced the KCET option entry 2024 for 2nd extended round at the official website. Applicants can complete the KCET option entry at kea.kar.nic.in. Candidates need to enter the preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of KCET 2024 option entry. KEA has announced KCET round 2 extended seat allotment date 2024. KCET Option Entry 2024 - Karnataka Examination Authority commenced the KCET 2nd extended round 2024 option entry at the official website. Applicants can complete the KCET round 2 extended option entry 2024 at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants first need to login using their CET number to complete KCET option entry 2024. Candidates need to fill the preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of KCET option entry 2024. Applicants are advised to complete their KCET counselling 2024 choice filling carefully. KEA will release the KCET seat allotment 2024 result based on the choices filled by candidates only. KCET round 2 extended seat allotment will be announced on October 8.
KEA will allow candidates to change their choices after the declaration of KCET mock seat allotment result. Candidates who are not satisfied with their KCET seat allotment can change their option through login window. After conclusion of option exercising facility, KEA will release KCET round 2 seat allotment based on the revised choices filled by candidates. Candidates allotted seats have to complete the fee payment and physical reporting at the respective institute. KCET Option Entry Date 2024 

Karnataka Examination Authority has announced KCET option entry dates online. You can check them to know the schedule for all important events. The latest dates are updated here. Also, you must check the official website for any updates

The exam body is yet to release the exam dates for the KCET 2026 on its official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses will be able to check the KCET exam dates at official website kea.kar.nic.in

Q:   What are the steps to do KCET option entry 2025?
A:

The KCET 2025 option entry process can be done in the following way -

  • Visit the official website- cetonline.karnataka.gov.in
  • Click on the UGCET and login using the scan QR
  • Capture photo and verify OTP
  • Pay a non-refundable processing fee of INR 750
  • Once the payment is sucessful, candidates can participate in the counselling process. 
  • Select the desired category, based on which you want to do the KCET option entry.
  • Enter the list of the colleges and courses on the right side (rank them in your desired order)
  • Rearrange and once you are satified
  • Save and submit the KCET 2025 options. 

The KEA has announced the KCET 2025 round 1 counselling dates on the website. The mock seat allotment result will be announced on July 19 and the KCET provisional seat allotment 2025 result will be declared on July 25.

What After KCET Option Entry 2024? 

After the choice filling, the Karnataka Examination Authority will release the KCET round 2 extended allotment result 2024 at the official website. Applicants appearing in the counselling process will be allowed to change their options after the declaration of KCET mock seat allotment result. After the conclusion of option entry KEA will release the KCET seat allotment result based on options filled by candidates. Applicants need to exercise the options allotted along with the payment of fee for final admissions.

Document Required for KCET Counselling 2024 

Candidates for allotted seats must produce the following documents at the time of physical reporting at the respective institute.  

  • KCET application fee payment proof.   
  • Class 10/SSLC mark sheet & certificate.   
  • Class 12/2nd PUC mark sheet & certificate.   
  • 7 years study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI.   
  • Recent passport size photograph (two copies).   
  • Income certificate.   
  • Rural study certificate.   
  • Caste certificate.   
  • Kannada medium certificate (Candidates who studied in Kannada Medium from Class 1 to 10 in Karnataka and outside Karnataka).   
  • Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.   
  • Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.
