KCET Option Entry 2024 - Karnataka Examination Authority commenced the KCET 2nd extended round 2024 option entry at the official website. Applicants can complete the KCET round 2 extended option entry 2024 at kea.kar.nic.in. Applicants first need to login using their CET number to complete KCET option entry 2024. Candidates need to fill the preferred choices of colleges and courses at the time of KCET option entry 2024. Applicants are advised to complete their KCET counselling 2024 choice filling carefully. KEA will release the KCET seat allotment 2024 result based on the choices filled by candidates only. KCET round 2 extended seat allotment will be announced on October 8.
KEA will allow candidates to change their choices after the declaration of KCET mock seat allotment result. Candidates who are not satisfied with their KCET seat allotment can change their option through login window. After conclusion of option exercising facility, KEA will release KCET round 2 seat allotment based on the revised choices filled by candidates. Q:   What are the items restricted inside the KCET exam centre?
A:

KEA has released the KCET 2025 admit card at the official website. Applicants appearing in the exam have to carry their KCET admit card along with one valid photo ID proof at the exam centre. Candidates are allowed to carry their pen/pencil, face mask, and water bottle inside the exam centre. However, KEA will not allow candidates to appear in the KCET 2025 carrying restricted items at the exam centre. The items restricted inside KCET exam hall are given below.

  5. Mobile Phone/ Earphone/ Microphone/ Pager

A:

Karnataka Examination Authority has released the KCET 2025 exam date on the official website. Applicants looking for admissions to engineering and other courses can check the KCET exam dates at kea.kar.nic.in. The KCET 2025 exam was conducted on April 16 & 17. KEA conducted the KCET 2025 exam in an offline centre-based mode. Candidates appearing in the exam must carry their KCET admit card 2025 and one valid photo ID proof. The KCET exam date 2025 for the Kannada language exam was on April 15.

Q:   Can I use a calculator during KCET 2025 exam?
A:

No, Karnataka Examination Authority will not allow candidates to use calculators during the KCET 2025 exam. Applicants are also not allowed to carry any electronics devices like mobile phones, pagers and other items inside the exam centre. Applicants appearing in the exam can use their question paper for rough work. The authorities will allow candidates to do calculations and rough work in the question paper booklet. Any candidate carrying restricted items inside the KCET 2025 exam hall will be disqualified from the admission process.

KCET Option Entry 2024 – Important Guidelines 

  • Applicants are advised to fill maximum number of choices at the time of KCET option entry. 
  • Candidates eligible for multiple courses must fill options separately for all courses. 
  • It is advisable to review choices after option entry as seat allotment will be done strictly based on options filled by candidates.  
  • Applicants must take print out of filled options for future reference.

A:

No, there is no break in between KCET 2025 exam However, Karnataka Examination Authority will allow applicants to go out after the conclusion of a paper. Applicants can leave the exam centre only after the completion of the KCET exam.   

  • KCET application fee payment proof.   
  • Class 10/SSLC mark sheet & certificate.   
  • Class 12/2nd PUC mark sheet & certificate.   
  • 7 years study certificate countersigned by the concerned BEO/DDPI.   
  • Recent passport size photograph (two copies).   
  • Income certificate.   
  • Rural study certificate.   
  • Caste certificate.   
  • Kannada medium certificate (Candidates who studied in Kannada Medium from Class 1 to 10 in Karnataka and outside Karnataka).   
  • Parent’s study certificate/Parent’s Hometown certificate/Parent’s Domicile certificate/Parent’s Employment certificate/Parent’s Cumulative Record/Parent’s Marks Card, etc., for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats based on the domicile/study/employment of the parent.   
  • Identity card issued by the Jurisdictional Deputy Commissioner/District Magistrate/Rehabilitation Commissioner, for the candidates claiming eligibility for Government seats under Jammu & Kashmiri Migrants quota.
