Shiksha spoke to MET 2019 candidates for their feedback on the examination. Know here how difficult was the exam in comparison to other entrance examinations. 

MET 2019 Student Reaction & Review – Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE) is conducting Manipal Entrance Test (MET) 2019 for BTech courses from April 19 to 28 in three shifts. As per the feedback of MET 2019 candidates, who appeared on April 20, the difficulty level of the question paper was easy than the other engineering entrance examinations.

One of the aspirant, Vedant Sharma said that the difficulty level of the paper was easy. He also shared that the exam was easy as compared to JEE Main 2019 exam. According to him, questions were tricky which consumed more time. As per his analysis, the overall paper was easy but tricky.

Another MET 2019 aspirant, Vatsal Gur had the same experience. According to him, the paper was easy but lengthy. “Time management was required to complete the paper”, he added.  English and Chemistry were the easiest as compared to Mathematics. He also acknowledged the exam centre, which provided good facilities and was cooperating and supportive during the examination period. In his opinion ‘Physics section’ should be done first.

Another student, Archit Asokan said that this was his first attempt for MET. The overall difficulty level of the exam was easy. The paper could be easily completed within the exam duration. He will also appear for NEET and BITSAT.

Madav Rangaiah shared that the overall difficulty level was moderate. According to him, the exam duration was less as compared to the number of questions. However, the questions were direct and easy as compared to JEE Main 2019. Physics was lengthy and had more numerical questions than theory based questions.

Nitin Kumar from Ahlcon Public School said the paper was too lengthy. However, as per the difficulty level of the paper, the question paper was easy if compared to other engineering entrance examinations.

MET 2019 is being conducted in online mode carrying Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ type). The candidate must choose the right or closest to the right answer from among the choices. For every correct answer 4 marks will be awarded while 1 will be deducted for every wrong answer. On completion of the test and submission, the test score will be displayed on the screen immediately. The test score can also be verified online, 24 hours after the test completion. Rough sheets have been provided during the test and must be returned back on completion of the test. For multiple attempts, best of the scores will be considered for the merit list.

The highest package details for Manipal Institute of Communication placements 2024 has not been released. However, the median salary 2024 is out for UG and PG courses. The highest median package stood at INR 5 LPA and was offered to PG 2-year students.
