Most of the aspirants refer too many books to prepare for entrance exams. According to me, this is not a correct approach. Time management and revision approach
As we all know that Time Management is the key to success. While preparing for any entrance examination like AP PGECET, students have to set goals, prepare a timetable this includes reading, preparation, revision, relaxation, mock tests, doubts clarification, group discussion and so on. Allot more time to prepare for difficult subjects and topics and less time for easy concepts and subjects. Avoid spending too much time on one subject, topic, or question; this results in wasting time and increasing stress. Proper time management allows a student to plan the day in a better way and reduces stress and confusion while preparing a particular subject.
Evaluate own preparation at all levels
The last step in preparation is self-evaluation. This means a complete analysis of preparation, practice and as well as revision of each subject. Writing mock tests after completing the syllabus helps in conducting self-evaluation of the subjects studied. While revision, write at least one mock test every alternate day. After completion of revision, write mock tests on a daily basis and solve the incorrect answers again to get a better grasp on every topic. In addition, give at least 1 hour 15 minutes for doubts clarification every day; this would help in avoiding repetition of the mistakes.
Lastly, try to attempt all the questions in AP PGECET as there is no negative marking.
