Online classes are being conducted by our college from the third week of March. They are not handling live sessions of teaching. The major point behind this approach is the people who are not having access to the internet should not miss classes and also we can refer to them whenever we want. Our faculty are using Google Meet to record the presentation and send to us well in advance so that we can prepare and get clarified our doubts during the meet. The disadvantage of these online sessions is they won’t create the atmosphere of classrooms.

  • These are effective for maximum topics but whenever the discussion is on concepts related to understanding the problems, it becomes a bit difficult to follow.
  • They have designed a time-table for all subjects with a maximum of three courses and a minimum of one course per day.
  • During this time, the faculty members of a particular subject will be available in the meet and they clarify the raised doubts by us.
  • During the shutdown, we were only left with 16 days of working period. So, the material provided by faculty was sufficient for the completion of the syllabus.
  • They are instructing us to follow the videos regularly so that we will be able to complete the specified assignments. There will be an interactive discussion for the questions asked by the faculty.
  • The faculty members have made a light schedule so that one won’t feel them as a burden.
  • As of now, there were no projects and assignments because their motto is to learn at this point of time. But they are planning to have online assessments in the near future.
  • For lab or practical work, there was no plan about it as they were willing to conduct them once everything is normal.
  • In order to practice the problems for practical exams, some were giving them as assignments.
  • The college management has decided to conduct our third internal exam online through Google classroom. For this, they proposed to conduct them as MCQs and open-book type test based upon the subject. As a practice for that, sufficient mock tests were planned to conduct in advance.
  • Our management was keen on our safety and health. They are constantly advising us about the precautions to tackle this epidemic.
  • Semester exams are being planned once we are through with this situation.
  • TBI of our college has successfully tested the 3-way and 4-way split for ventilators and are involved in the social activities.
  • Management was expecting maximum support from students and parents. Regarding studies, they are taking all the possible measures to keep us on track.
  • As of now, they gave an announcement officially on twitter that they are going to conduct online classes upto April 17.
  • They will give time to prepare for online mid exams and again they will conduct classes for doubt clarification for the total syllabus from April 20 to April 25.
  • They are going to conduct a mock test for all subjects for mid exams on April 24.
  • They are going to conduct our mid exams from April 27-29.
  • They declared part holidays from May starting and we don’t know when our holidays are going to end.
  • They are advising us not to go anywhere for study purposes too. They are giving us all possibilities in this critical situation.
