Overall, it is nice, placements are good for SOC, and we have to maintain our CGPA and attendance.
Placements: Around 70 to 75 percent of students get placed. I think the average package is between 9 to 11 LPA. Companies like Infosys, Amazon, Cognizant, TCS, HCL, and many more visit for recruitment. Around 50 to 75 percent of students get placed in Amazon, HCL, TCS, etc. The top role offered in our course is software engineer, I guess..
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is nice and all, but sometimes the Wi-Fi speed is low and we face many problems with it. During lectures, we can use the Wi-Fi provided by SASTRA on laptops, but on phones, we do not even get network signals to speak. That is the only common problem all students face.
Faculty: Exams feature extremely difficult questions, with 2 exams conducted per day for midterms, which makes it hard to score. However, the curriculum is relevant. Semester exams are very difficult, and I think the pass percentage is around 50 percent, though I do not remember exactly.

Good placements and value for money, but too many restrictions and fewer college fests.
Placements: Up to 80% of students get placed every year. The average package is about 8 LPA, and the highest package is 44 LPA this year. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and Accenture. Around 50–75% of students get internships from tech and IT giants like Amazon and PayPal. Top roles offered include Software Engineer, Full Stack Developer, etc.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is accessible only on laptops. Classroom and lab facilities are very good and useful for interested students. The library is open every day until 8 PM. Hostel food is entirely vegetarian, and the quality is good, but students from other states may need to adjust. There are four to five canteens inside the college. The college encourages sports and games. A sports event called Colosseum is conducted every year.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable, and very helpful. They encourage every passionate student in different aspects. In the first year, there are many irrelevant subjects. Core subjects start from the second year. In my opinion, these irrelevant subjects and the difficulty of the papers cause some students to get arrears.

Absolutely satisfied with the faculty and campus environment.
Placements: In my senior batch, almost 70 percent of students got placed. The highest package is 40 LPA, the lowest is 5 LPA, and the average is 8 LPA. Recruiting companies are Paypal, Amazon, TCS, Fidelity, Wells Fargo, and Deloitte. 50 percent of students got internships. Roles offered are data analyst, SDE, data scientist and many other roles like full-stack developer.
Infrastructure: The hostel and the campus are maintained very clean. The hostel food is also of good quality. For medical purposes, there is a hospital on the campus. There is an ATM in the hostels, and many playgrounds and a stadium on campus are available for sports and games.
Faculty: The teaching is top-notch, and the subjects are also very interesting. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes us industry-ready for sure for all the branches. The difficulty level is from medium to tough. Passing percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this because of the high placements available in this domain. The best thing would be that it has many interesting things to learn. About my course, they can decrease the number of lectures. Events and fests are conducted in the even semester, and they are quite fun.

The college is good, affordable, with good infrastructure and placement opportunities.
Placements: 95 percent of students in my course get placed through campus placements. The highest package is 4.2 LPA the average is 7.5 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, and others. Around 40 percent of students get internships. The roles offered in my course are data analyst, junior engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. We have huge grounds for sports. Wi-Fi is available throughout the campus. The library building is very big. All classrooms have screens and projectors. The hostel is good for four sharing. Food in the mess is okay. Medical facilities are available in the college.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good and well-mannered. The college curriculum is very relevant for today’s education. The mid and semester exams are difficult and hard to score high marks.
Other: There are three fests in total. I suggest modifications in the timetable because it sometimes takes away time to improve skills outside the college curriculum.

I suggest students take admission if they are not getting into the top government colleges.
Placements: It does not share much information about placements, but from the school of computing, some professors told companies like Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, Infosys, and TCS visit our college to hire students. The average package offered ranges from 6-7 LPA. It also provides internships in the 3rd year, and we just have to grab it, which means we need to improve our skills.
Infrastructure: Our college has a huge campus. There are separate buildings for each course. Wi-Fi is only provided on a laptop. The library is very good, and they have even used its photos on their homepage on the website. At the start of the 1st year, they will assign a mentor to every student. Some mentors will come to our hostel day by day and try the hostel food and all.
Faculty: Teaching quality is very good, even though some of them compare this college with some NITs. The exam rules are too strict. If we are caught while cheating, they will put 0 for all subjects in internals. The weightage of internal is 50 percent on our result. The pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: It organises only 3 fests in a year, like a sports fest named Colosseum, a tech fest named Daksh, and a cultural fest named Kuruksastr. For extracurricular activities, we may not get much time because they conduct classes up to 5:15 PM, so it all depends on us to manage our time.

It is a college that gives life.
Placements: Placements are good. The highest package reached 27 LPA, and the average packages are around 4 to 8 LPA. This indicates strong industry connections for engineering and technology students.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is limited, as the signal is often low. The campus offers robust infrastructure, including a green campus, modern labs, a library, sports facilities, a gym, a hospital, banks, and good transport. Hostel rooms are available in 2-sharing and some 4-sharing.
Faculty: There are three midterms, which are hectic. Professors are very experienced. Exams are rigorous, involving internal assessments and end-of-semester tests. Selection is typically based on merit in the JEE and intermediate examinations.
Other: Campus is situated on 300 acres. Campus life is marked by a strict dress code and disciplined environment. They often designed for parents’ comfort rather than student freedom. This creates mixed feelings about creativity and personal expression due to hierarchy and control. The university provides an industry-oriented curriculum and has good infrastructure.

I am absolutely satisfied with the placements in our college last year and about the faculty.
Placements: I am studying in computer science engineering course at SASTRA University. Above 75 percent of students have been placed. The average package of our branch is 8 LPA, and the highest package is 20 LPA. Top recruiters are Bajaj and Aerosol.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very well-equipped. We have a big library with hundreds of books. The building has many water purifiers for drinking water for students. The students have the facility of Wi-Fi in computer science laboratory and AC facility in laboratory.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-equipped with skills and technology. The curriculum followed in our college is very useful and helpful for students to gain knowledge. The system followed in our college is semester exam system, and exams are held as per semester.
Other: There are hardly one or two cultural events per year.

Satisfied because of the faculty and good placements in recent years.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed. The salary package offered is 29 LPA. The lowest salary package is 2.4 LPA. Almost 50% of students got internships in the core and IT branches. Bosch, Rockwell Collins, Cisco, Caterpillar, Coreel, Cypress, TCS, CTS, Wipro, Zoho, Amazon, PayPal, L&T, Cognizant, Accenture, Infosys, these are the top companies that visited in the past years.
Infrastructure: Good facilities and infrastructure available for your course/department, for example- Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, library. A better quality of the facilities in your hostel. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen. The college provides medical, sports, and games facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is very good. The curriculum is relevant mostly practically, as students learn together in labs. The level of difficulty is moderate when studying one day before, as you can't get good grades.
Other: An ECE-focused post indicates about 50% placement for core roles and coding/IT roles, with approximately 100 ECE students placed in a batch. Another comment suggests that only a smaller number of core recruiters visit for ECE, making coding roles more common.
