Thapar Insitute of Engineering and Technology (TIET) offers ME and MTech programmes under the stream of Engineering. Admission to both these courses is entrance-based. TIET ME/ MTech Exam Dates 2021
The Deemed-to-be University accepts GATE score for admission to the PG Engineering courses. The important date regarding the same is mentioned below:

TIET MTech Admission 2021
Under the stream of Engineering, the Deemed-to-be University offers an MTech programme at the PG level. Admission to the programme is based on a valid score in GATE. MTech is offered in seven specialisations, which are mentioned below:

TIET ME/ MTech Application Process 2021
TIET application process is conducted through an online mode. Candidates have to register through the official website of TIET to apply for any of the programmes. Follow the below-mentioned steps for the complete TIET application process:
Step 1: Visit the official website of TIET, www.thapar.edu.
Step 2: Click on “Admission 2021” and register yourself.
Step 3: Fill the application form by entering the required academic and personal details.
Step 4: Upload a scanned photo of the qualifying exam marksheet and a passport-size photograph.
Step 5: Pay the application fee online via debit/ credit card or net banking.
Documents required at the time of admission:
- Class 10 and Class 12 marksheet
- UG marksheet (if applicable)
- PG marksheet (if applicable)
- Date of birth certificate
- Passport-size photograph
- Transfer certificate
- Character certificate

There isn't really one "must-have" book for LEET that everyone follows. Most students I know used a mix of diploma-level textbooks, previous year papers and aptitude practice books.

From what I've seen, MBA admissions at Thapar Institute usually need around 60–65 percentile in CAT and 150–190+ score in NMAT for a decent chance. Cutoffs can vary a bit every year depending on applications.

CS seats at Thapar are quite competitive, so it really depends on your JEE percentile or 12th marks. Agar score decent hai, chances definitely hain. Percentile bata do, fir better idea de sakta hu.

COE at Thapar has pretty good placement opportunities, especially if you're interested in software and tech roles. Personally, I'd pick COE at Thapar over Civil at DTU if your goal is placements and a career in tech. Branch usually matters more in this comparison.

There isn't a fixed NEET score that guarantees admission to B.Tech Biotechnology at Thapar. Admission is based on your NEET rank/merit and can vary every year depending on applications and available seats. Thapar does accept admissions to Biotechnology through NEET for PCB students.

Yes, admission in Thapar is based on 12th marks for some seats/rounds, but branch allotment depends on your percentage and the available seats. Top branches like COE/CSE usually get filled through JEE-based admissions first.
