UPSEE 2020 - Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) is conducting UPSEE 2020 counselling in online mode. The UPSEE counselling 2020 round 3 will be conducted from November 10. UPSEE is being conducted every year by the University for admission to undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, pharmacy, architecture and other courses conducted by various institutes affiliated to AKTU. 

It is necessary for students who are aspiring for admission to BTech/BE courses in any of the participating institutes of AKTU to qualify for the UPSEE 2020 exam. UPSEE 2020 exam was conducted on September 20 due to COVID-19 outbreak and the lockdown in the country.

UPSEE Counselling and Seat Allotment 2020

  • UPSEE 2020 counselling and seat allotment process will be conducted online. Qualified students of UPSEE 2020 will be required to register online mode for counselling and seat allotment. A separate notification has been issued by the AKTU for the counselling schedule.
  • Along with registration for UPSEE 2020 counselling, qualified candidates will also be required to fill their choices of college and course. UPSEE 2020 Seat allotment will be done considering the factors like ranks obtained by candidates in the entrance test, category, choices filled, and availability of seats.
  • After allotment of seats, students will be required to deposit the seat confirmation fees and report to the allotted institute to confirm their admission.

UPSEE 2020 Eligibility Criteria

UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria are the conditions that every student must fulfil before filling the application form. Generally, these eligibility conditions include details about qualifying exams, compulsory subjects in the qualifying exam and age limit, etc. In case a candidate fails to fulfil any one of the eligibility conditions, his/her candidature may get cancelled. Following are the UPSEE 2020 eligibility criteria:

Age – There is no age limit for candidates aspiring to appear in UPSEE 2020 exam. Students of any age are allowed to appear in the admission process for any participating institutes of AKTU.

Year of Passing Class 12 - Students who have passed class 12 in any year can appear in UPSEE 2020. Students who are appearing in their class 12 exam in 2020 can also apply.

Number of Attempts - There is no limit for students to attempt the UPSEE 2020 exam. They can appear for as many times as they wish.

Percentage in Class 12 - Students must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in aggregate (40% for SC/ST candidates) in class 12. Students having a diploma in Engineering and Technology must have obtained 45% in their diploma course.

UPSEE 2020 Application Form

AKTU has released the UPSEE 2020 application form on January 27, 2020. Candidates must read the information bulletin before filling the UPSEE application form. Details regarding application form are given below:

The application form is provided in online mode only. Candidates must note that the AKTU will not provide a printed application form for UPSEE 2020. While filling the application form, candidates have to go through steps like registration, image uploading, and fee payment.

First of all, candidates will be required to register for the UPSEE 2020 exam. For registration, candidates will be required to provide details like name, email ID, mobile phone number, details of parents, the domicile of candidate and parents, communication and permanent address, gender and number of any government authorised identity card. After registration, candidates will be required to upload the scanned images of the signature and photograph. Specifications for images to be uploaded are given below:

After uploading the images of photograph and signature, candidates will be required to pay the requisite application fee for UPSEE 2020. Fee payment can be online only through Credit/ Debit Card/ Net Banking/ Payment Banks. Students have to select the mode of payment from the available options and pay the fees. Application Form Correction

The university has also provided the UPSEE 2020 application form correction facility in online mode. Candidates will be allowed to correct mistakes in selected fields of application form during the correction window only. UPSEE 2020 application form correction has started from March 18 to June 03, 2020.

UPSEE Syllabus 2020

Before starting the preparation for the entrance exam, students must go through the UPSEE 2020 syllabus prescribed by the exam conducting authority. The syllabus will contain topics from each subject from which questions will be asked in the exam.

Students will be provided here the topic wise syllabus of each subject immediately after the announcement. One important thing that every student keep in mind is that they should study only referring to the syllabus of UPSEE 2020 as questions are formulated strictly by it.

UPSEE 2020 Admit Card

AKTU has released the admit card of UPSEE 2020 on September 10 in online mode. Students who will submit their filled-in application form within the specified dates will only be allowed to download the admit card. UPSEE 2020 Admit card is an essential document that will be required for all the candidates to appear for the exam, participate in counselling and admission process.

The admit card of UPSEE 2020 will comprise details about the exam centre, exam date and time, venue of the exam, paper for which candidate is appearing, and application number. It will also have details of the candidate like name, category, and photographs. Students will be required to download their admit card from the UPSEE 2020 portal. Every student must and take a coloured print out of UPSEE admit card 2020 to the exam centre on the exam day.

Students not carrying the admit card will not be allowed to appear in UPSEE 2020. Students must also carry a valid photo ID along with them to the exam centre on the exam day.

UPSEE Result 2020

The AKTU had released the UPSEE 2020 result on the official website. The university released the result in online mode at the official portal of UPSEE 2020. To download the result of UPSEE 2020, students will be required to login to the official portal for candidates and log in using their application number and password.

The result will contain the marks of students scored in each subject along with the total marks, All India Rank, category of candidate, and other details. Students who will secure the minimum qualifying marks will be eligible for counselling and seat allotment process.

As per the candidate’s performance in the entrance test, a separate UPSEE 2020 merit list will be prepared. In case candidates secure equal marks, then tie-breaking criteria will be applied. Candidates will get an opportunity for scrutiny of answer sheets on payment of Rs 5000/- per paper.
