UPSEE 2020 application form released by AKTU: Know how to apply online

Dr A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) has extended the dates for UPSEE 2020 application process until May 31. UPSEE 2020 application form is available online on the official website of AKTU. The correction window for editing details in UPSEE 2020 application form from March 18 to June 03. Candidates can read the information bulletin released by AKTU along with the application form of UPSEE 2020 for complete details.

The information brochure also has all the important dates regarding the UPSEE 2020. Candidates must read the information bulletin before filling the UPSEE 2020 application form. Candidates must keep in mind that the application form of UPESEE 2020 will be provided in online mode only.

The AKTU will not provide a printed application form for UPSEE 2020. UPSEE 2020 application form filling procedure comprises steps like registration, image uploading, fee payment and printing the confirmation page. After submission of the application form, candidates will not be required to send the confirmation page to the university. How to fill UPSEE Application Form 2020?

Step 1: Online registrations

It is the initial step for candidates applying for UPSEE 2020 exam. To register for the exam, applicants will be asked to fill their details, choose a password, and enter a security pin. Login credentials will be generated after successful registration for UPSEE 2020. The credentials will be sent to all the candidates on their registered mail ids. UPSE login credentials will be required by candidates to submit their UPSEE 2020 application, download UPSEE 2020 admit card, and check the UPSEE 2020 results.

Step 2: Filling details in UPSEE application form

After registration, candidates will need to fill other details to UPSEE 2020 application form. For this, candidates should visit the official page and click on the application form link.  On clicking the link, students will be asked to enter their login credentials. After entering the details, applicants will be needed to click on the ‘Click Here to Proceed’ button.

On clicking it, incomplete UPSEE 2020 application form will appear on the screen. Candidates will then be needed to fill the following details:

Personal details: Father’s name, mother’s name, nationality, gender, parent’s domicile, Aadhar number, address, mobile phone number, email, etc.

Qualifying exam details: Here, candidates need to enter details such as the name of the qualifying exam, year of passing, subjects in the qualifying exam, state from where the qualifying exam has been cleared, etc.

Course: Candidates need to select the course(s) for which they are applying.

Papers: Candidates need to select appropriate paper(s) for which they want to give the exam.

Exam centre details: Candidates can choose a maximum of three test cities in order of preference.

After entering all the details, candidates will be able to click on ‘Submit’ to review the form. If candidates are satisfied with the details mentioned in the form, they can submit the UPSEE application form 2020 by clicking on the ‘Final Submit’ button.

It must be noted that once the form is submitted finally, the candidates will not be able to make any changes in the information. An application number will be generated after the final submission of the application form. Students must note the application number for future reference.

Step 3: Upload Photo & Signature

After submission of the UPSEE application form, candidates will be allowed to upload the scanned copies of the required documents. It is not mandatory to upload scanned photo and signature or pay exam fee immediately after filling the application form. Candidates can do it later by logging in again. Note: Do not upload unclear or blur photographs or leave any mandatory field in the application form blank. Error-prone or incomplete application forms will be rejected. 

Step 4: Pay UPSEE Application Fee

Candidates can pay UPSEE 2020 application fee in online mode via credit card/ debit card/ net banking/ wallets.

Things to Keep in Mind while Filling UPSEE 2020 Application Form

  • All candidates must provide their Aadhaar number while filling the UPSEE 2020 application form.
  • Candidates belonging to a reserved category or sub-category must indicate it in the application form. However, they do not need to send any supporting documentation for it to the university.
  • Candidate facing difficulty in filing the UPSEE application form 2020 should immediately inform the university at toll-free number 1800-180-0161 or send an email at upsee2020helpdesk@aktu.ac.in with the subject line “Seeking Help”.

AKTU conducts Uttar Pradesh State Entrance Examination (UPSEE) every year for admission of candidates in the first year of different courses in engineering, architecture, pharmacy, design, management, computer applications, and other streams. Candidates aspiring for admission to different programmes offered at the government and private colleges of the state must fill the UPSEE application form 2020.
