Vellore Institute of Technology conducted VITMEE 2025 exam (Day 2) on April 24, 2025 (2:30 pm to 4:30 pm) for admissions to M.Tech and MCA programmes offered across its campuses in Vellore, Chennai, Bhopal, and Amaravati. VITMEE is a national-level entrance test held annually for postgraduate admissions in engineering and computer applications.
VITMEE 2025 July session Day 2 exam is being held TODAY (April 24). Exam timings are 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. VITMEE 2025 exam will be conducted in a computer-based test (CBT) mode, including 100 multiple-choice questions, to be attempted in 2 hours. The VITMEE 2025 question paper will focus on the candidate’s undergraduate subject knowledge and include questions on technical subjects and English communication skills. Each correct answer will carry one mark, and there will be no negative marking for incorrect responses.
VITMEE 2025 Admit Card
VITMEE admit card is now available on official website. To download, candidates have to provide their user ID and password. Applicants appearing for exam, must carry their VITMEE hall ticket along with a valid ID card to center.
VITMEE 2025 Result and Counselling Dates
The VITMEE 2025 result will be released in rank form on May 9. After that, shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling and seat allotment. Selection will be based on the candidate’s performance in the entrance exam and academic records. The campus's online VITMEE 2025 counselling choice and preference will be held from May 9 to 11, 2025. VITMEE 2025 seat allotment will be published on May 19.

VITMEE is the entrance exam conducted for M.Tech programme admission and VITEEE is conducted for admission to BTech programmes. However, the selection and counselling process remains to be the same.

For M.Tech CSE at VIT Vellore campus, the safe rank is usually between 500 -700 under category 1. For CSE specialisations, the safe rank is upto 5000 under category 1.

The selection for VITMEE is done simply based on rank obtained in the exam. The ranking is classified into five categories that inclines with tuition fees. Candidates with low rank have to pay minimum fee. As the rank gets higher, the tuition fee also increase.
